Well, you should definitely consider how the vote would go, based on which provinces pay more, and which receive more of the famed 'transfer payments'.
There are some on the losing end, that might not think Canada has been doing right by them, and would consider other options. There are also some 'fat cats' who reside in areas which benefit. They will vote to continue with the freebies.

All innuendo...not a shred of evidenced discussion.
Should... might ... you are a monumental waste of electrons.
Cancelling the remaining F35 would be very good policy and slap the US economy.
Portugal already cancelled.
The new version of the Swedish Grypheon is a better choice and less money.

The Gripen may be a very good plane, but I just lost a lot of confidence in Simon Whistler when he attributes the creation of the cobra manoeuver to a Draken pilot, rather than to the SU 27 that all my sources credit it with. maybe it was the text writer that repeated silly stuff or indulged in a bit of propaganda, but that simon should repeat that just like that, it shows his show is not all that reliable as a source.

If nations really do use propaganda, where would the most Canadian propaganda be found?
Those who can't answer, might be vulnerable to that very propaganda...

Any of you tried looking at polymarket, instead of the traditional polling services?
one could buy Pierre P for 55c for 'yes', or buy Carney for 47c. The arithmetic deserves more attention than I gave it, but if the market resolves to 'yes' (at the designated date, by the designated authority) then you get paid. Seems to be suggesting Jagmeet is a LOOOOOOONGshot though. Don't know why he might be seen as that unlikely. Maybe Canada is too small for polymarket to have good info on
ETA: found a more entertaining one to speculate on...

Still haven't answered as to whether you want Canada to be annexed as the 51st US state...

It's a multiverse out there. Some people parse reality too much.

I don't know what the offer is yet. Being a state doesn't look that different than being a province. I've not chosen either, in the last while.

Re: All Things Canada Eh
You (and they) haven't described a difference yet. I'm from a place that has no representation because the rest of the country is more suited to ruling. Or something.
What difference are you asking about? Or do you just want me to take a certain side rather blindly?
Re: All Things Canada Eh
You take the side that is evident for you blindly anyways despite scientific evidence to the contrary so what would it matter?
