I was unable to write my Kari story. Just dould not make myself do it. Getting off all political stuff soon. Thanksgiving at sister in law's.

But it was something to do with Trump finally noticing the price of eggs. And his solution: I'll just have Elon buy all the chickens. (he meant the living ones, not the frozen ones)

One last catch for the day.
Cracking down on the entry of immigrants from the southern border was a key campaign promise made by Trump along with “mass deportations” of undocumented individuals who are already in the U.S.
In a follow-up tweet after Trump’s posts, the Mexican president said she had explained to Trump her country’s “comprehensive strategy” for addressing the migration issue while “respecting human rights.”

In response to Trump’s threat, Sheinbaum warned on Tuesday that Mexico was ready to retaliate but warned that a trade war would worsen economic conditions in both countries. In a press briefing, the Mexican leader read out a letter she had written to Trump which said: “One tariff will follow another in response and so on, until we put our common businesses at risk…What sense is there?” Sheinbaum also noted that American carmakers who have plants in Mexico—including General Motors and Ford will be particularly badly hurt.

The latest fad is a poverty social. Every woman must wear calico,
and every man his old clothes. In addition each is fined 25 cents if
he or she does not have a patch on his or her clothing. If these
parties become a regular thing, says an exchange, won't there be
a good chance for newspaper men to shine?

That’s the real message the WSJ (and Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch) are sending. Basically it’s a ‘Take it easy guys. DON’T overreach.’ It’s a safe bet Trump and some of his biggest ass kissers won’t get the message but others will. ‘Others’ include a group I haven’t mentioned. The public and many politicians won’t pay attention to a Thanksgiving weekend OpEd from the Wall Street Journal saying the GOP isn’t in any position to go trying to impose the kind of crap Trump promised. However those in the financial sector up their on Wall Street itself WILL take note.

The cake walk to new untold riches isn’t going to be so easy as they are imagining and there are pitfalls aplenty that await them if they get out of hand. In its roundabout way the Journal’s Editorial Board is telling the financial sector Congress reflects the country – divided down the middle. While the GOP currently has a tenuous hold on power it’s unlikely to last past the 2026 midterms. That will matter to the movers and shakers on Wall Street.

Latinos now like all Americans: hate foreigners. When they came, they had to live in a shoe box!

Then Rosa realized that many of the newcomers with ongoing asylum cases could apply for work permits and driver’s licenses — state and federal privileges that are unavailable to undocumented immigrants. Rosa’s feelings of indifference turned to frustration and resentment.

“It’s not fair,” said Rosa, who works as a janitor. “Those of us who have been here for years get nothing.”

...ProPublica interviewed dozens of long-established Latino immigrants and their U.S.-born relatives in cities like Denver and Chicago and in small towns along the Texas border. Over and over, they spoke of feeling resentment as they watched the government ease the transition of large numbers of asylum-seekers into the U.S. by giving them access to work permits and IDs, and in some cities spending millions of dollars to provide them with food and shelter.

Elon wants Vindman in jail for being on the side of Ukraine.
When the term starts, Trump will try to wrestle everything for himself. He will then at some point say that "I am the government." He cannot be charged with treason anymore.

Somehow, and it has not even started yet, the Trump as joke is not nearly as funny anymore. Four years was enough of comedy.
Critics mock 'Donny deals' after Trump met with brutal fact check from Mexico's president
"So Mexico agrees to do the thing it's already been doing, and Trump claims victory. Sounds about right," quipped Catherine Rampell, an economics columnist for The Washington Post.

Tero, we’ve been telling you that for years! Good luck, it’s going to be terrible.

It's almost like people are assholes! But, I'm skeptical. I bet as a whole they lean sympathetic.

"Rosa, like Valadez, couldn’t vote. But two of Rosa’s U.S.-born children could, and they cast ballots for Trump. One of Rosa’s sons even drives a car with a bumper sticker that says “Let’s Go Brandon” — a popular anti-Biden slogan."
related to that story...someon dug that up

NYT story
The buses rumble into town day and night, dumping migrants in a city many didn’t even know existed.

But instead of landing closer to the U.S. border, they are being hauled roughly 1,000 miles in the opposite direction — deep into southern Mexico in a shadowy program meant to appease the Biden administration and ship migrants far from the United States.

...oh, and fentanyl deaths, the thing that Donny pretends to care so much about? they’ve been plummeting, thanks to Biden Administration policies.

What do you think Svarty, is Trump’s nomination of Charles Kushner to be ambassador to France 4d chess, a statement of what we expect from our ally? He’s obviously a debaucher, and to debauch is to entice, seduce, lead astray" (from allegiance, family, etc.), from French débaucher "entice from work or duty," from Old French desbaucher "to lead astray,"
