90 minutes of outback Cairns ( where we live ) to Darwin right on the top end. Partner drove that a couple decades back with a Hilux and a canoe.
Had to get my mozzie coil out tonight. Little bugger got me on the chin.

Rabbit Hole was fun.
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

Back in the day, on Bron's parent's farm, I shot them by the dozens with my trusty .22. Bron and her parents could not stand the taste, but the farm dogs were vey appreciative...

Damn - excellent 4k HDR feed. I've seen the first season before but not in 4k and really enjoying it especially the visuals.

Vikings and Valhalla ....9 Seasons. Better than GoT. Based in history and marvel sets and cast. Amazing battles and the sets to go with them.

Should rank above Game of Thrones in my view. Now at 9 seasons total...
Based on actual events
Brilliantly executed
Cinematography is outstanding,
Stunts like the London Bridge were outstanding executlion…
Characters like Godwin and many of the principle players, Leif Ericson are based in history instead of fiction.

Fuck Columbus the Vikings got to North America long before him.
I like this origin story much better...

And what could be better than an actual Viking in the lead in Valhalla
Full name: Frida Gustavsson.

Portrays: Freydis Eriksdotter.
Season/s: Season 1 (Valhalla) Season 2 (Valhalla) Season 3 (Valhalla)
First appearance: The Greenlanders.
Image
Freyja, (Old Norse: “Lady”), most renowned of the Norse goddesses, who was the sister and female counterpart of Freyr and was in charge of love, fertility, battle, and death. Her father was Njörd, the sea god
Now of course I have to go back and binge Vikings I’ve two weeks of bachelorhood as Jude takes care of her brother post op.
