I remember reading Final Exit. Asphyxiation with nitrogen was mentioned, as well as hydrogen and CO2. It recommended using a gas which put you to sleep first. They say that drowning is one of the most dreadful ways to go. I wonder who they asked.

Cutting and stitching a suit so you can conceal-carry a shotgun down the trouser leg without spoiling the lines of one's outfit is a rather expensive bit of tailoring.

He's not even that keen on guns.

MAGA has a new mantra for school shootings. While 'thoughts and prayers' left people sort of dwelling on the horror, with 'get over it' they can just swiftly move on. Brilliant.

Going postal will be that much easier, although you will probably die from a hail of bullets from the co-workers you missed...

A Finn that keeps his guns at his cabin in Canada. He lives in the US: Canada has a good way of controlling its firearms. Just renewed my every 5-year PAL. We should have the same system in the USA.

Digby asks him:What is your system now?

Digby KC you go and buy pistols, assault weapons, submachine guns and 10,000 bullets, you pay and drive home.

My son has been asking about hunting, so I’ll likely be looking at picking up a new rifle soon.

In the meantime I’ve encouraged him to learn as much as possible about the animals he plans to hunt. So far that’s already lead to crossing a few off the list of potentials… :smoke:
