The latest fad is a poverty social. Every woman must wear calico,
and every man his old clothes. In addition each is fined 25 cents if
he or she does not have a patch on his or her clothing. If these
parties become a regular thing, says an exchange, won't there be
a good chance for newspaper men to shine?

Area police chief stressed at attending police conference.
...had earlier been asked to leave the JW Marriott hotel in Tampa’s downtown, where he was attending a sheriffs’ association conference. After leaving the hotel, the 52-year-old Ramirez pulled over on the side of interstate 75 and shot himself in the head.

Never sit around in parked cars at midnight. Just get in and drive off. If traveling, go to motel. https://www.1011now.com/2023/08/08/teen ... olice-say/
