They have not proposed much of a role for Obama, and he would not be much help calming Trumpsters. He would make a good secretary of state.

The line of succession to president includes secretary of state. But Kissinger, a foreigner!..was secretary of state.

It's NOT a democratic model, not since every state and whatnot passed regs to force great electors to follow certain trends sent by parties and vote counts rather than vote according to their own best estimation, once designated.
Well the winner take all (electoral votes) rule went in sometime early 1800s in every state but 2. State powers!
The principle of binding the electors' votes defeats he purpose of electing them in the first place.

It's a call for those voters to turn up, would be my guess.

The question marks related to his claim image would not show.

I think it will not be a major factor, but young voters are hard to reach with polls. I think enough will show up to save the senate. That will have some impact after the 2024 election, as the senate gets to run any electoral college shenanigans. If DeSantis runs, he will likely win, so then the recounts and challenges do not need to be done. But the Trump-elephant changes things.

The senate will likely remain with democrats in 2024 too.

I hear the hideous frump seems to really want to run in 2024... any way he'll be sent to gitmo before that can happen?

I had my election class today. I guess I met an "independent voter" or idiot in the class. He hated Trump and Kari Lake and election deniers. But he must have been watching news or tweets, as he is convinced only Republicans can save the country from inflation and ruin.

At least it is not three planes to park there, only two:
Three presidents – one sitting and two former – descend on Pennsylvania Saturday for a final-stretch midterm push that underscores the stakes of one of the nation’s most closely watched Senate races.

For President Joe Biden, who will hold a rare joint appearance with former President Barack Obama in Philadelphia meant to boost the Democratic candidate Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, Pennsylvania will amount to a political stress test in his home state, where he’s traveled 20 times since taking office.

For former President Donald Trump, who rallies outside of Pittsburgh in the city of Latrobe, a win by his hand-selected candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz could prove his own enduring viability in a commonwealth he lost by a narrow margin in 2020.
