“The Turkey Trot, Grizzly Bear and Other Naughty Diversions”
“Starting as if in the good old-fashioned Two-Step, the dancers suddenly let go hands, the man slipping behind his fair companion, there is a little step and a hop, something like a turkey might be expected to do, then a fresh grip around the waist of the young lady, the man snuggles up ever so closely behind her and they hop, skip and jump and half run along.”

Re: The thirteenth musical thrill: what are you listening to?
A Finnish band from the 70s and 80s. The drummer did most of the vocals. He did not speak English. The bassist did but he only wrote like two songs. So my pal Jim wrote these songs for Remu to sing. The most mysterious lyrics yet. First he is with Sally Brown, then with Jenny. And there is peanut butter. Any ideas where Jim was going with this? Hand jobs?
Everything goes on late here
Me and Sally Brown
Sitting back in a Cadillac
Ain't got no worries at
Bourbon Street
Bourbon Street
Bourbon Street
Watching my baby
Bourbon Street
Bourbon Street
Bourbon Street
Watching my baby
Well, you get on famous
Me and Jenny Brown
Smoking and talking there
I'm so glad I'm on
Bourbon Street...
All the people smoke outside
Everything is keeping high
Come see me, hey, I got the best
Is one enough fly to the west
And now I know the difference
Of me and Johnny's hands
Me and moma peanut butter
Get your head in your bed
Bourbon Street...
All the people...

Me and Sally Brown

Inhibition, well, you can fly
Out the window to the clear blue sky
It will mess your suit, it will make you cry
It doesn't matter, give me Mumdane pie

With more familiar cover songs Remu got the lyrics right most of the time. The band toured mostly Scandinavia. It was the typical rock trio, but issues with the "rock star" (heh, it was barely big time) life had guitarist Järvinen in and out of the band. He is not here, Ile kallio filled up the rest of the time.
