I had to look this up. While swimming in the Mediterranean today I felt something bite my ankle, and again, and again --wtf-- so I put on some goggles and looked: dozens of small sea bream were nibbling on my ankles and feet!

In 2020, the @metoffice produced a hypothetical weather forecast for 23 July 2050 based on UK climate projections.

Today, the forecast for Tuesday is shockingly almost identical for large parts of the country.

With 4 out of the 5 Tory leadership candidates saying either Net Zero commitments are a scam or just plain bad for the economy Sir John Hayes, chair of the interestingly named Common Sense Group of Conservative MPs, says that warnings of the risks were evidence that we live in a “cowardly new world”, and, “It is not surprising that in snowflake Britain, the snowflakes are melting. Thankfully, most of us are not snowflakes.”

Just the colors they are using making the weather map seem worse than it is. What we have is a two or three day blip in a typical summer being made to appear like the end of times. Not saying climate change isn't in the mix. But it's a gradual change allowing for gradual adaptions. The only folks who are happy with the wild media hysteria are the Russians and the Green fanatics who'd both like to see us living in the trees like primitive tribes.
