What does the court consider damaging in Roe vs Wade?

Lawyering. The constitution has limited human rights. Roe va Wade has a right that is not there.if you are legislating from the bench you are then making a rule that steps on state rights.
If the feds passed a law demanding all states allow abortion the court could say no. "You have to pass an amendment."

CNN Alito:
He said that while defenders of Roe point to the Due Process Clause of the 14th Amendment, they are mistaken.
That's because, according to Alito, while the Due Process Clause might guarantee some rights that aren't mentioned explicitly in Constitution, such rights have to be "deeply rooted in this nation's history and tradition."
"The right to abortion does not fall within this category," he said.

Have to be "deeply rooted in this nation's history and traditions"!?

The language strikes me as manipulative to nth f'n degree.

It's not accidental that his concern for "history and tradition" is shared by the big money being spent to cement a particular version of both.

That this same money has been behind the recent additions to the court is a straight-up conspiracy.

I hope the roof falls in on them.

Back in the day:
In a majority opinion written by Justice Harry A. Blackmun, the Court held that a set of Texas statutes criminalizing abortion in most instances violated a woman’s constitutional right of privacy, which it found to be implicit in the liberty guarantee of the due process clause of the Fourteenth Amendment (“…nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law”).

The constitution is big on federal powers. The rest are mostly left to states. Other than talking, shooting, seizures and quartering of soldiers.

"The right to abortion does not fall within this category," he said.
It depends upon which right he's referring to here. Abortion, no. The right to privacy, though, does have such a history.

The map higher above is not entirely correct for Wisconsin. There are these three clinics left for 5 million people. The law allows abortion to 21 weeks.

I condensed it. It's got...4 views. The whole abortion thing exploded with tens of thousands of tweets today.
