Females makes excellent snipers. They don't need to say they are female. Don't ask, don't tell. Concealed carry. Like Florida or Texas.

It does not look good. There is no indication that Ukraine has moved any equipment to protect Kiyv. They have planes but that seems to be it.

A fight for Kyiv: CNN reporters heard blasts in the capital early Friday, after the Biden administration warned that Russian forces which entered Ukraine through the Belarus border are just 20 miles (32 kilometers) from the city.

Residents huddled into air raid shelters, as a Ukrainian official said cruise or ballistic missiles hit the city. There were reports of troops blowing up a bridge to stop an advance of Russian forces.

US intelligence officials are concerned that Kyiv could fall under Russian control within days, according to two sources familiar with the latest intelligence.

Reading another Russia book. Not really interested in the patriotic everyday Russian, he is quite familiar to us Finns. "A Russian is a Russian even when fried in butter." I read Rachel Maddow's book Blowout that covers the world oil industry well. Russia manipulated the industry to a small number of oligarchs. Also read the Cabin 6 novel, a struggle.

Only about a day to go. Russia has control of the air space between it and Kiyv.

Russian servicemen, who seized two vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, changed into the uniform of the Ukrainian military and were moving at high speed to the center of Kyiv from Obolon, have been neutralized.
Ukraine's Deputy Defense Minister Anna Maliar announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Update: Neutralized," she wrote, expanding her previous post.

Earlier, Maliar said that Russian troops had seized two vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, changed into the uniform of the Ukrainian military and were moving at high speed to the center of Kyiv from Obolon. She also noted that a convoy of Russian military trucks was following them.

As was reported earlier, the head of the aggressor country, Vladimir Putin, on February 24 announced the launch of a special military operation in the Donbas. Russia started a war against Ukraine at about 04:00 on February 24.

Altogether the Armed Forces of Ukraine included about 780,000 personnel, 6,500 tanks, about 7,000 combat armored vehicles, 1,500 combat aircraft, and more than 350 ships.

It might take a week. Best tactic yet: blow up your own bridges leading into Kiyv.
