Macdoc knows as always FA about capitalism.
Hey Mac just keep riding your carbon footprint and watching your 1000 k televisions and forget about the rest of the world. You really know FA of the rest of society which of course typical for that great city of Cairns.

Political parties, and by extension political and democratic process and institutions, have been captured by Capital and therefore service the interests of Capital: Australian coal, UK financial services, Dutch agriculture, German car industry, US tech, pharma and guns, etc etc. This is my point, not whether someone getting a loan to start a sandwich business is a good thing or not.

Entirely agree. Our African member must have something against women.

You guys know that women aren't just a collection of body parts don't you? C'mon. We all know that what makes a Hottie of any persuasion Hot is their personality - don't we? There's no point buying a palace if all the rooms are crumbling with damp and woodworm behind the painted facade - right?

Well, that's what I've been telling myself all these years anyway.

True. Sex is just the icing on the cake, but to be honest I've had one-night/week/month/whatever stands where personality was. The joy of meeting a woman, immediately want to have sex with and banging her ten minutes or a couple of hours later is a real thing.

I just loved the smell of women. Their bodies and they were all beautiful. (Just one glass too many). I have many memories and at this stage of my I return often.

Somebody should mention to the LibDems the word "Orpington" when they are celebrating their win last night.

Tory chair: North Shropshire voters have given us a kicking
Oliver Dowden says voters are fed up, and a senior MP warns Boris Johnson ‘one more strike and he’s out’

The Conservative party co-chair Oliver Dowden has conceded that voters have given the government “a kicking” after the Liberal Democrats clinched an extraordinary victory in the North Shropshire byelection with a swing of 34%.

Boris Johnson is facing a backlash from Tory MPs after the result, which was worse for the government than even pessimists at Conservative campaign headquarters had feared.

Helen Morgan, the Lib Dem candidate, won 17,957 votes, 5,925 more than the Conservatives’ Neil Shastri-Hurst, while Labour’s Ben Wood was third with 3,686. Turnout was 46.3%.
Look at that turnout! They think these one offs are significant? It proves FA. A bit of shin-kicking? Corruption is so embedded and they cant see it. This is not democracy but chumocracy. The conservative git must have been a real twat :what:

BTW the Liberals back then even held a conference about "Whatever happened to 'Opington Man'?"

Whatever happened to ‘Orpington Man’?
The Orpington by-election of March 1962 was a political landmark: a stunning victory for Jo Grimond’s Liberal Party, as Eric Lubbock turned a Conservative majority of 14,760 into a Liberal majority of 7,855. The term ‘Orpington Man’ was coined by the press to identify a new type of voter, young, white-collar, skilled, well-educated and upwardly mobile socially and economically a social group supposedly rejecting an old-fashioned and out-of-touch Tory party but not attracted to a cloth-cap, Clause IV Labour Party either.
How history repeats itself?
