Not that I mind differences. I just pigged out on listening to various renditions of Bach's Chromatic Fantasia & Fugue In D Minor - BWV 903.

Without pretending to understand the theory in detail my vote goes to #3. It does get a bit peculiar around the 16:26 mark. Not that I mind, though.

Bunch of fiddlers pumping away at their idiom. It's cool when they slow down for a bar or two. To those unfamiliar to the baroque, all of it sounds like Bach.

From Agostino Steffani's Stabat Mater (1724). "I long for mourning", my foot. The music stands in stark contrast to the subject matter. The Church is in the process of losing control of it. The subversion is hidden in plain sight, in this case probably helped by the fact that the composer was a bishop.

I ran across that as I was looking at my Handel CDs. I have the allegro of it on a Handel collection. Annoying. I want all the movements of a concerto, including the slow one.

Handel composed a number of concertos for organ and strings. He played organ on those himself, even after he went blind. This one is also known for harp.
