Re: The Coronavirus Thread
After our health minister resigned for getting caught on camera snogging a female friend during office yhours (but not for promoting her to the oversight board of his department nor for awarding her brother's healthcare company and very lucrative contract) our new health minister, hte massive landlord, former Goldman-Sachs exec, and habitual company director Savid Javid, has told us that we just have to learn to live with the virus. Masks off from the 19th July. No need to self-isolate if you've had 2 java and someone in your bubble or household tests positive, nor if you've had 2 jabs and want to holiday abroad, or even if youve had 2 jabs and get a positive test but don't feel unwell. 2 jabs good.
I wish him long Covid.

Third dose of Pfizer beneficial

I suspect, in the US, it will be over 65 people with any mass vaccination. Others may get it with $$ and insurance will pay.

We had a delta variant death. The bit of news is incomplete, since it does not say what her condition was and how it would affect her immune response.

Conspiracy theory/Trump win:

U.S. adults were almost twice as likely to say the virus was the result of a lab leak in China than human contact with an infected animal, which many scientists believe is the most likely scenario.

Then they need to get vaccinated. Not my problem.Tero wrote: ↑Thu Jul 08, 2021 8:21 pmYou can still get it. You can get it in such mild form that you spread it to the unvaccinated. You can kill them. Not a big loss for Trump voters but still.laklak wrote: ↑Thu Jul 08, 2021 6:16 pmI'm vaccinated.BarnettNewman wrote: ↑Thu Jul 08, 2021 2:28 pmHe may or may not. This confirms Cunt's point about the media's power in controlling the terms and framing of the issue -- the virus' Origins Story -- but just not in the way he was constantly, incessantly, unremittingly bemoaning.Tero wrote:Conspiracy theory/Trump win:

It's weird to feel they should have any answer at all really. --wtf do I know seems both more appropriate, and American

I was given a year of free milkshakes once. The year passed and I hadn’t bothered to get even one.

100% verifiable facts or your money back. Anti-fascist. Enemy of woo - theistic or otherwise. Cloth is not an antiviral. Imagination and fantasy is no substitute for tangible reality. Wishing doesn't make it real.

I was at the grocery at a busyer time so I wore the mask. Me, one cashier and one bag boy had masks. But only on the mouth for the bag boy. 2 more weeks to no masks. They won't turn you away if you wear a mask.

Re: The Coronavirus Thread
Calling them cases is misleading. They are positive tests which does not mean they are cases especially amongst the youth which hardly show any symptoms. With the holiday season started here more youth are being tested which of course leads to more positives. There is still no definitive evidence that masks work especially the way they are being used.
