Re: Republicans: continued
I think their best bet, is to have Turnip do some dramatic and exciting things, then swap him out for someone quiet. Best of both worlds.

Re: Republicans: continued
Even if it isn't a real Republican, it sounds like one.

Re: Republicans: continued
Heard about this interview on one of my podcasts, so I dragged it over here. (I think Tucker is a Republican)
Tough to disagree with anything Peterson said in that few minutes. Or maybe Tucker 'soft-balled' him for some reason.

Re: Republicans: continued
Anyone who spend any time with Peterson videos and podcasts is an idiot. That's even if you throw out politics. Go find a local conspiracy theorist to argue with, you will get more out of it.

That's what people generally say about him, rather than addressing the points he raises.
It makes his detractors look funny, but that IS probably what they are going for.

It makes me nervous, especially if the person doing it is supposedly really smart. It's similar to my reaction to hearing about Jesus/the Church/Vacation Bible School/Sunday School etc from someone selling me something --uh uh.

I was given a year of free milkshakes once. The year passed and I hadn’t bothered to get even one.

Yeah, well why give medals to jackbooted thugs stomping down people who were merely presenting political requests?

Wasn't there one (or more) police guy who effectively welcomed in the motley crew of red-neck thugs? Perhaps those Republicans could vote to give him a medal...

There was what's known as chaos. I think caught up in the criminal activity were a bunch of idiots.
I listened to an interview with the guy who says he started it. He sure didn't feel in control.
