They want to turn pipe line protesters into terrrorists

https://actionsprout.io/2EA956/initialAdd your name to ask Senator Bernie Sanders to organize in Congress to stop a bill that would brand our Water Protectors as "economic terrorists" and allow them to be charged with a class-C felony.
It isn't only the demonstrators at Standing Rock who could be charged with a felony under this law, but also anyone who funded them.
Under the proposed law, Water Protectors could face up to five years in prison, as well as $10,000 fine.
Our Water Protectors risked life and limb against the winter cold and police grenades to safeguard the water of tens of millions of Americans. They should be treated as heroes, not felons!
Add your name to ask Bernie to organize against the bill that would turn our peaceful Water Protectors and all their supporters into class-C felons.

Re: Dakota Access Pipeline protests
FIRST ON FOX: Reps. Lauren Boebert and Chip Roy launched an effort Wednesday to force a House vote on reversing President Biden's oil and gas executive orders that the GOP lawmakers panned as detrimental to the economy and America's energy independence.
Boebert, R-Colo., and Roy, R-Texas, launched a discharge petition to revoke Biden's moratorium on new oil and gas leases on federal lands and his decision to stop the construction of the Keystone XL oil pipeline.
"President Biden's assault on American's energy production is causing the skyrocketing gas prices that we're seeing at the pump," Boebert told Fox News in an interview on Wednesday. "Thousands have lost their jobs and tens of thousands will be losing their jobs. Meanwhile the rest of the world, they're laughing at us as we purchase more energy from countries that hate our guts."

Re: Dakota Access Pipeline protests
I went to a public hearing on the pipeline. The state public utility board was 3 republicans and 2 democrats. Strangely there was a decision to move the route East to a location where there was already a pipeline. No land would have had to be bought. And away from the aquifer.
There were hundreds if welders there, paid by the employer to read the same statement. During the two days of public hearings. A good chunk of it was those identical statements. The majority of the welders were from out of state.

Foxnews makes connection from Keystone pipeline to current pipeline hack.
https://www.foxnews.com/media/keystone- ... -sense.amp
None of the Keystone tar sands oil would ever had made it to cars or even trucks. Only ships.

Re: Dakota Access Pipeline protests
The US EPA document from 1976 shows schemes used to treat tar sands. It is oil that is part bitumen, close to coal. You can distill some naphta out of it. The scheme on page 42 shows a lot.
https://nepis.epa.gov/Exe/ZyNET.exe/910 ... SeekPage=x
if you start processing it you get both coke and useful products. The coke can only be burned as coal.

How to make gasoline from tar sands, in six simple steps
6 . The bitumen still needs to be refined, so it’s off again into another pipeline to an oil refinery, though most of the old refineries aren’t up to the task of handling the filthy bitumen, so you’ll need to build new refineries or upgrade old ones. Presto! You’re cooking with gas!
After all of this, it takes as much as four tons of sand and four barrels of fresh water to make a barrel of synthetic oil, which is good for about 42 gallons of gas, or one fill up in a ’97 Suburban.

It may not leak oil, but it will definitely leak digital information back to China...rainbow wrote: ↑Mon Jun 07, 2021 8:53 am...or you could engineer a pipeline that doesn't leak.Tero wrote: ↑Thu Apr 22, 2021 1:18 pmI went to a public hearing on the pipeline.
