I didn't say 'black', by the way. Just pointed out that there are LOTS of killings, and if you squint your eyes down and ignore a lot of it, it starts looking like white men are the WORST.

It would be like starting 'terrorism statistics' in the US, just after the 9/11 attacks, to get different results...

The media crows about 'gun violence', when a 'mass shooter' event happens, killing 10.

If, the same weekend, there are 20 'gun violence' deaths in Chicago, it is likely that they won't bother.

If they cared about gun violence, they would crow about all of it. As it is, they use certain incidences of gun violence to push their agenda, while ignoring gun violence that contradicts it.

All while having armed security, no doubt.

People DO care.

Media uses that 'caring', to sell ad-space.

So they find the kinds of gun violence that serves that purpose best, and ignore the gun violence which doesn't sell ad-space. It isn't about how many people die, but instead about which killings best serve their exploitative goals.

Every time I hear the media using a 'mass shooting', I check a city like Chicago, their gun deaths, to get some perspective. I think it is usually about 20 per weekend, ignored by media in favour of more usable stories.
