So do you think the UFOs are from out of this world or do you have a naturalist explanation for them?
Far be it from me to deny that there is intelligent life in the universe except for us. (With apologies to Godwin,) as the number of discovered exoplanets grows bigger, the probability of discovering intelligent extraterrestrial life approaches 1. But the so called evidence purporting to show that our planet is being visited by intelligent extraterrestrial beings won't stand up to even the most cursory examination.
This video NineBerry posted a few days ago debunks a recent batch of purported UFO sightings.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein’s brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops. - Stephen J. Gould
It dawned on me that science is bound to discovering the laws of this universe and by following the laws of society, Only in art, religion and dreams are these laws completely violated and absolute freedom is experienced and kept alive in the idea. However, with the progress of civilization, the experiences of absolute freedom are becoming harder and harder to attain. The atheist is cutting down the tree of life, and not only their own.

Positively Chopraesque.

Hi there, blindfaith. Your alias and avatar are particularly apt for this thread.

Seriously. See how the Soviet state treated the orthodox church, or how Maoist China persecuted (actually stiill does if the Falun gong thing is any indication) every religious movenment that would have let people think differntly than the Party.
Khmer Rouge, Enver Hoxha, China against Uighurs, the list is endless.
Pretty well. It is the power who has the greatest force that wins in these situations. Even with all of you atheists on an atheist forum your chances are less than winning the lottery. DM annihilated u. Remember that.
