Re: The Coronavirus Thread
I tried.
Never mind.
facebook systemically lied about the virus, but because the source of the info is too complicated for you to 'vet', it's probably safer for you to just ignore the whole thing.
But when you want to know which tech giants suppress, and where, go look to what and who they suppress, at least for starters.

Re: The Coronavirus Thread
Not. You just asserted stuff, and didn't bother to back it up.
Nothing complicated. Facebook, like Youtube, publishes what other people say. Weinstein among them. Is he lying about the virus? Is Crowder? The Lotuseater? All of them have accounts on both. Are Facebook/Youtube stopping them?
That is not how discussions work. You made the claim that tech giants suppress discussions. You back it up. I'll wait.

I'm not interested in hearing how you distrust PV. You know where the evidence is, and if you don't have any interest in what the company was doing, that's ok with me.Hermit wrote: ↑Fri May 28, 2021 8:48 pmNot. You just asserted stuff, and didn't bother to back it up.

You asked, I gave you a ready example. You can't accept it, no matter how factual, because Project Veritas.
Tell me, when in history, have you thought of those censoring ideas as 'the good guys'?

Re: The Coronavirus Thread
We cant move fast enough to remove restrictions. Everything has been moved forward by a month. Next Saturday everything is open. It is for a restricted number but a week later numbers are dramatically increased. The reduction in restrictions will be by the end of July be over.
The vaccination targets will not be achieved thanks to Johnson and Johnson not delivering. All Nederlanders that want it should have it by the 31st of July. The tortoise has over taken the hare.

Re: The Coronavirus Thread
I have not posted what I think of Project Veritas in our current discussion, but since you keep bringing this squirrel up, let's have a look at it: Project Veritas has a Youtube channel with 966,000 subscribers and over 800 videos that have been viewed 106 million times. Howzat for censorship and suppression by tech giants, huh?Cunt wrote: ↑Fri May 28, 2021 10:16 pmI'm not interested in hearing how you distrust PV. PV's Twitter account was banned for allegedly making fake Twitter accounts. Six weeks ago O'Keefe's personal account met the same fate. O’Keefe has denied the claim, and announced to sue Twitter. Still waiting for that to happen. Looking at PV operatives' long record of pretending to be people they are not I am more inclined to believe the allegation than the denial. Perhaps O'Keefe does not fancy his chances of judges agreeing with him or his outfit.

...he said, not looking into the facebook employee's claims and documents.
Re: The Coronavirus Thread
Look, let me try this a different way.
I understand that you think PV is shit. That isn't contributing anything to my assessment of this facebook whistle blower.
In fact, while this is a coronavirus thread, I don't know if you know what the employees claims were, or whether they seem relevant to anything here.
And I don't know of an example from history, where the people censoring ideas were the good guys. If facebook is doing that, I think it's more significant than a reporter being shit.

Re: The Coronavirus Thread
You keep forgetting that tech giants are for-profit companies. They chop accounts, employees, boards of directors, chairpersons and members who are deleterious to the bottom line. Nothing personal or political about that. It's why Trump lasted as long as he did. As president he was powerful enough to make life for Zuckerberg & Co very difficult. As ex-president he became a liability. Same with PV. If Zuckerberg & Co saw more profit in turning Twitter into a giant version of Stormfront without endangering his own welfare, he'd do that. That's capitalism for you. Free enterprise.
If you want to look at true censorship, that is censorship by governments for political reasons, look at the prohibition of holocaust-denialism in Germany, Austria and to a lesser extent some other countries.

Or discussion of islamification in some other countries.
It's almost as if it never happens. Or at least noone can speak publicly about it.
Those censoring, be they corporate, government or blue shirts, have never been the good guys.

Correction - he CAN speak publicly about it. He may lose 5 weeks awaiting trial, but being found not guilty must make it all worth it.In a post on Facebook (which you can see below) — with a video of the arrest in full attached — Evans wrote: “I painted Islam is questionable on my own property. Over ten police turned up.
“I was then remanded in prison for five weeks until trial. The judge agreed I had no case to answer to it was freedom of speech and found me not guilty.”

The story must have morphed a fair bit when it was translated from Scottish to North American. Here is what the local rag reported:Cunt wrote: ↑Sat May 29, 2021 1:46 amOr discussion of islamification in some other countries.

No word about "five weeks in remand" for painting a sign on his home with the message: “Islam is Questionable”.A ROSYTH man painted a sign on his home with the message: “Islam is Questionable”.
Graham Evans then carried out a dirty protest in a cell at Dunfermline police station by smearing excrement on the walls.
Evans was charged with breach of the peace for putting the slogan up on his house but was found not guilty after a trial.
However, he was jailed for his actions at the police station.
Evans, 40, of Queensferry Road, appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He faced a charge that on April 19, at his home, he painted religiously abusive and provocative language on the wall and committed a breach of the peace.
His solicitor, James Moncrieff, argued that there was no case to answer and Sheriff Craig McSherry accepted this.
He previously admitted that on April 19, at Dunfermline police station, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by urinating in a police cell and smeared faeces on the wall.
Sheriff Craig McSherry jailed Evans for four months backdated to April 20 when he was remanded in custody.
Also, I can't see any involvement by tech giants.

Forgot the link.
It looks like he painted islam is questionable, then got in trouble for smearing the inside of a cell.
No word about how he found his way in to the cell...must have been confusion by local police about what may be deemed questionable. Certainly he wasn't jailed for it, as he claims. He must have snuck into the cells to do a 'smear campaign' against the noble constabulary.

Cunt wrong again. I can't believe it.

Re: The Coronavirus Thread
Yeah, well, forgetting that Daggles started off on suppression and censorship by tech giants, then fails to notice the total lack of tech giants in the fake article, is an easy mistake to make by people who believe nothing but what they want to believe.
