The latest fad is a poverty social. Every woman must wear calico,
and every man his old clothes. In addition each is fined 25 cents if
he or she does not have a patch on his or her clothing. If these
parties become a regular thing, says an exchange, won't there be
a good chance for newspaper men to shine?

Not sure of the availability, but there were bootlegs of the original 10 songs the record company rejected. That song was then added.

The tune is good, I'd best stay away from examining the historic entrails of every song and musicians. Already know too much about how sausages are made, to get started on the music industry.
