I've always wondered what the particularly whacko Christian cults think of each other. Mormons, Jehovahs, Seventh Day Adventists, Exclusive Brethren and the rest. I'd be willing to bet that each one would firmly believe the others are destined for hell...

Well, I can say from my limited experience that the JWs think everyone else has basically been conned by the devil. The Catholics seemed to come in for particularly heavy stick.

It amuses me that, in the view of some christian cults, being in a different christian cult is just as bad as being an atheist...

One thing I never got, is that one of the basic messages of chretin faith is the Jeebus came to redeem us all, even whores and tax takers, so why is it important that you worship and believe in the exactly correct manner?

I think the most ridiculous were the battles in France over the trinity. That was totally absurd. Mind you any battle over religion is disgusting.
What is also absurd and completely insane is how the extreme orthodox protestants go about their religion. Here you have so called 'chapter' churches which set out their rules for their church in a chapter. They totally independent fiercely of each other. Any one can set up a chapter church just get a group self minded idiots and a minister of pastor and off you go. It is very common to have schisms. One idiot has a dream and claims that god has offered him say five places in heaven so he leaves and sets up a another church in the same village. It splits the village with the two congregations not speaking to each other until the next schism. You may see in a very small village three or four churches. Pure madness. Well what do expect with all the incestuous relationships.

Battles in France over trinity? I don't get you. To the best of my knowledge, the battles over the trinity dogma took place between Rome and Alexandria, even before the Franks came over. And as to the reform and wars of religion, neither the Lutherans nor calvinists question the trinity.
