Re: The Coronavirus Thread
The latest fad is a poverty social. Every woman must wear calico,
and every man his old clothes. In addition each is fined 25 cents if
he or she does not have a patch on his or her clothing. If these
parties become a regular thing, says an exchange, won't there be
a good chance for newspaper men to shine?

Re: The Coronavirus Thread
Science is deep state!
At a Senate hearing, Rand Paul pressed Fauci on health experts' continued recommendation of masks even for people who have contracted the virus or who have been vaccinated. Paul repeatedly suggested wearing masks in those cases was "theater" — pointing specifically to Fauci wearing masks even though he has been vaccinated.

Re: The Coronavirus Thread
What was Fauci's answer? Was it a good one?
Re: The Coronavirus Thread
He was asked for evidence of reinfection or something...probably not worth knowing.

Re: The Coronavirus Thread
More here"You're telling everybody to wear a mask, whether they've had an infection or a vaccine," Paul said to Fauci, who is director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. "If people that have had the vaccine or have had the infection ... if we're not spreading the infection, isn't it just theater?" Paul asked.
"Here we go again with the theater. Let's get down to the facts," Fauci replied. "Let me just state for the record that masks are not theater. Masks are protective."
Fauci has noted before that people who are vaccinated may still breathe in virus, have it living in their nose or throat without causing an infection, and breathe, cough or sneeze infectious virus onto others. People can also become re-infected after they've recovered, although it is uncommon.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says people who have been vaccinated should nonetheless still wear masks when around people who are not vaccinated.
"And you don't keep in the concept of variants. That's an entirely different ballgame," Fauci added.
"That's a good reason for a mask."

So he was asked about reinfection, the answer was (app.)
I think Fauci answered him.People can also become re-infected after they've recovered, although it is uncommon

...so why did you ask if you already knew the answer?

Re: The Coronavirus Thread
A quarter of our county's population has been vaccinated. If you signed up through a drug store and paid acservice fee, those over 50 could get a moderna. Otherwise it is still in the over 60 group:
Vaccinations administered:
Initiated vaccinations (first doses): 80,612
Completed vaccinations (second doses and J&J vaccine): 50,406

Re: The Coronavirus Thread
That's the answer Hermit quoted, after I asked.
That's the 'good answer' I guess. I would go check Fauci's answer, but I don't have to. His answer is always be afraid, be more cautious, be more careful.
You can turn the sound off, and make just as much sense of what he says. It's like listening to Pelosi talk about Trump lol

Yeah, Fauci, what an asshole, right? Always using science to try to help people avoid catching a potentially lethal virus. The gall, the nerve of the fellow.Cunt wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 3:54 pmThat's the 'good answer' I guess. I would go check Fauci's answer, but I don't have to.
