The snow in Texas is flammable, and they're putting stuff in the water that turns the frogs gay. If you believe otherwise you're in agreement with Vladimir Putin. How does that feel?

Objective reality is real because it's objective reality, no matter how it makes anyone feel. Trump lost. It's objectively true because he got fewer votes than Biden. The end.

He stands by it.
Indeed, I stand by everything I said in the post you quotemined from. Comparing Isis and Trump supporters it is fair comment to describe the former as fundamentally theocratic and the latter as fundamentally racist.

It's obvious hateful horseshit as it stands
It is neither hateful nor horseshit to describe either as such. It is fair comment, especially considering the thread's theme. Isis and Trump supporters are not strange bedfellows.

If that were true, you'd have no problem producing the facts to support your position. As it is, you dodge real discussion and hide behind non-sequiturs and strawmen like you're doing here. :bored:
He pleaded guilty.

That's no strawman, that's what happened.

He wasn't a victim. That's a bullshit line pitched by the ignorant. I've not heard anyone who pitches that line talking to the victim about her reasons for calling the police.

What fact do you think I need? That he was shot more times than you wish?

Is Cunt talking to the wrong person, in the wrong thread, and arguing against a position nobody holds again?

To Juice the Economy, Biden Bets on the Poor

Mr. Biden’s bottom-up $1.9 trillion aid package is a sharp reversal from the tax cut bill that was President Donald J. Trump’s first big legislative victory.
WASHINGTON — To jump-start the ailing economy, President Biden is turning to the lowest-paid workers in America, and to the people who are currently unable to work at all.

Mr. Biden’s $1.9 trillion economic relief package, which cleared the Senate on Saturday and could be headed for the president’s signature in a matter of days, would overwhelmingly help low earners and the middle class, with little direct aid for the high earners who have largely kept their jobs and padded their savings over the past year.

For the president, the plan is more than just a stimulus proposal. It is a declaration of his economic policy — one that captures the principle Democrats and liberal economists have espoused over the past decade: that the best way to stoke faster economic growth is from the bottom up.

Mr. Biden’s approach in his first major economic legislation is in stark contrast to President Donald J. Trump’s, whose initial effort in Congress was a tax-cut package in 2017 that largely benefited corporations and wealthier Americans.

Record number of unaccompanied migrant children held in facilities meant for adults

Nearly half of the children — 1,400 — have been held beyond the three-day legal limit.
A record number of unaccompanied migrant children are in Border Patrol custody and shelter beds are scarce, raising fears of a new humanitarian crisis at the southern border.

More than 3,200 unaccompanied migrant children are being housed in Customs and Border Protection holding facilities, two sources confirmed. The New York Times, citing internal CBP documents, first reported that the number of detained children had "tripled in the last two weeks."

Nearly half of the children — 1,400 — have been held beyond the three-day legal limit. The CBP holding cells, sometimes known as "hieleras," or iceboxes, are not designed for children. They are typically small concrete rooms with concrete or metal benches and no beds.

In addition, nearly 170 of the detained unaccompanied children are younger than 13, a source said.

Government data reviewed by NBC News show that the overall number of unaccompanied migrant children who crossed the border in February spiked to about 9,000.

So Biden (under Obama) builds the minor detention facilities, then Trump is blamed for putting kids in those cages, now Biden (under Harris) is increasing the capacity back to pre-covid levels, and holding them there longer.

Sounds like they need a wall. Or no borders. Or something.

The Biden Administration is revamping the U.S. DOE loan guarantee program, providing guarantees for up to $40bn in loans to renewable energy projects, including geothermal.
Under its clean energy emphasis, the U.S. Department of Energy under the Biden Administration is reintroducing the federal loan guarantee program.

The program, launched under President Obama, went idle under the Trump Administration. It was supporting loan funding for renewable energy projects by providing government guarantees. While it had some high profile failures, the program was a useful tool to help renewable energy projects, among them geothermal projects in the U.S. to get funding.

Established in the Energy Policy Act of 2005, “the guarantees can be issued for loans up to 80% of the project’s total cost and are targeted only for projects that avoid, reduce, or sequester greenhouse gas emissions and employ “new or significantly improved technologies as compared to commercial technologies in service in the United States.”

Learn more about the program and loan guarantee solicitations at DOE’s Loan Programs Office website.

The first two geothermal projects to receive a guarantee for a loan were the Blue Mountain geothermal project in Nevada by Nevada Geothermal Power, and the Neal Hot Springs geothermal project by U.S. Geothermal.

Geothermal sounds nice, but without a deep technical understanding, I think it is a failure (for now)

See, mining companies are HUGELY greedy. One might say notoriously.

If there were money to be made pulling kelvins out of the hole they ALREADY paid to dig, you had better believe they would keep selling it as long as they could. Hell, they will invest heavily into reprocessing tailings that they ran decades past.

So if geothermal is so good, why isn't it being monopolized by big mining companies?

Joe Biden Nominates Two Women Generals To Lead Country's Military Commands
US President called women military general nominees “two outstanding and eminently qualified warriors and patriots," adding that they have incomparable skills.
US president Joe Biden on Monday promoted two female generals to lead top joint four-star military commands on occasion of International Women’s Day. At a White House press conference Biden called his women nominees, who are only the second and third females in the US combatant commands, “two outstanding and eminently qualified warriors and patriots.” Air Force Gen. Jaqueline Van Ovost, currently the head of Air Mobility Command, was nominated by the US president to now lead the US Transportation Command [USTRANSCOM], Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. His second nominee 3-star Army Lt. Gen. Laura J. Richardson of US Army North Command was promoted to lead US Southern Command (SOUTHCOM). Richardson will also receive her fourth star, Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III announced in a press release.

^ ^ Just more boring stuff from Biden. Re-litigating the election for the nth time is much more interesting.

I see that a revisionist wants people to believe that his hero, the former guy (well, maybe not hero, but SOOO much better than the current guy) didn't try to overturn the election that the former guy lost by more than 7 million votes and by an electoral college margin that the former guy himself described as 'a landslide'. This while history records that the former guy explicitly campaigned to overturn the election, using that precise word.

Strange, eh?

'Concern Grows as Trump Repeatedly Calls for Election to Be "Overturned" – and Republicans Refuse to Stop Him'
More than five weeks after Election Day, concern is mounting as President Donald Trump not only shows no signs of conceding, but increasingly is spreading dangerous lies and disinformation – including now repeatedly calling for the election to be overturned. Americans are growing increasingly concerned, not only with the President’s attacks on democracy, but with Republicans’ refusal to defend it.

President Donald Trump and his supporters have filed more than 50 lawsuits, losing all but one. On Tuesday the U.S. Supreme Court – on which the president placed three of the six conservative justices – unanimously smacked down the latest attempt to overturn the election, in what amounted to a scathing, one sentence refusal.

Trump is growing more agitated, according to reports, and spends his days focusing on little except the election.

Wednesday morning, amid a flurry of tweets, Trump posted a one-word demand:

#OVERTURN

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 9, 2020

That was followed Wednesday afternoon by another call to overturn the election he lost by more than 8 million votes.

In an insurrection, how many guns does it take to frighten a Harris presidency into banning the public from the Capitol buildings?

Trick question - it didn't take ANY guns, they were scared anyway.

Now, to convince a portion of that 80 million voters to pay attention to the white house youtube channel...

Glad you spoilered that terrifying individual. If it weren't for rare good fortune, he would be our ruler. Thanks be to Biden.

Anyway, so zero guns, is that what you are saying? Just a scary hat and a cut physique?
