Obama is being portrayed in a very confusing way by different sections of US society at the moment, what with the health care debate and all. Make up your minds please!

Corporations own our country. Insurance companies are dropping 10s of millions of dollars fighting back universal health care. Sadly, the majority of Americans are buying what they are selling because they don't look at things critically. In fact, last I checked, half of Americans believe that Obama healthcare will include 'Death Panels.' These would kill old people when they are too old to work or be productive to society.
I'm sick of this place...

Which one? It's kind of crucial!

Not to most americans - Hitler / Marx / Bin Laden - no difference - they are all bad.

Not exactly. Anyone who knows what a 'social theory'
is, let alone holds one, is bad. Why would anyone want to go messing with such complicated things if they weren't bad?

Does this apply to 'ideas' generally? 'Not familiar wit' dis one - must be bad'?

Pretty much. There are a few Americans that can think - they tend to gather on atheist forums.

Of course, there are always exceptions to the rule

After 8 years of W-bashing we're primed and ready to attack anything that moves in the Whore White House. Just remember, the vast majority of Americans would get off the couch if the building was on fire.
