Fridays they do 8000 people at the sports arena. Not sure if they are done with the 80 plus people, but I did not get an invite.

The South-African virus variant (that the vaccine doesn't work so good for) has arrived in central Europe via Tirol on Austria. (Yes, that's the same area that spread the original virus all over Europe last year via skiing tourists).

The SA variant is spreading there like hell. It is assumed that it arrived there via rich tourists going from South Africa to Tirol.

Faced with the issue, the Tirol idiots refuse to shut down their borders. While legally, no tourists are allowed there currently, lots of rich German people go there for skiing by using such tricks as posing as people training to become ski coaches, buying houses there or posing as job seekers.

Eat the rich. Arseholes.

Under the stage four lockdown restrictions to come into force at midnight tonight there will only be four reasons for Victorians to leave home: shopping for essential items, essential work, permitted education that cannot be done from home and exercise for up to two hours a day with people from your household.

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has just listed some other restrictions:

You must stay within 5km of your home other than for permitted work
Masks are mandatory everywhere in Victoria
No visitors to anyone’s home
Public gatherings not permitted at all
Schools will close but will remain open for vulnerable children or children of essential workers
Religious gatherings and ceremonies are not permitted.
Funerals can involve no more than 10 people.
Hospitality will move to take away only
Child care and early childhood centres will remain open.
