We don't pay all of it, directly to the FDA. The drug company applicants do. And they pay for the drug trials that the FDA examines.
So you pay for it when you buy US drugs.
Details: About 55 percent, or $3.2 billion, of FDA's budget is provided by federal budget authorization. The remaining 45 percent, or $2.7 billion, is paid for by industry user fees. The FDA budget is equivalent to $9.95 per American per year.

They were never banned in the first place. If they had been, there would have been a press release or a comment on their website about it.Cunt wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 5:17 pmNow that the election is over, maybe they unbanned them.
The Democrat Party is not associated with the left. Not being as right wing as the Republicans does not make it left. With the exception of Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who are social democrats, it is associated with neoliberalism.Cunt wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 5:17 pmPost all the pictures you want, but in the US, there are two choices, one associated with the right, and one ... with the left.

Re: All Things Biden: Is It Over Yet?
There are two choices. You call one of them 'right' that leaves the other as 'denying they are left'.
And you unsurprisingly are confused about the unity. I gave you hints, but here is an actual link. Maybe you can look into it, instead of just trying to insist I am wrong. Remember, my understanding of it might be less than perfect, but the scientist and other who started it, speak much more clearly on it.
It's amusing that you didn't find it, insisting it was never banned, by the way. Contradicting reality like that isn't usually your style lol

Wrong. If you have two vessels containing H2O, with one of them containing steam that does not necessarily leave the other one containing ice. It's water.
Not so fast. I see links to four videos totalling almost two hours in length. In which video and at what time in it is there a reference to the Unity Party being banned by social media?Cunt wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 8:59 pmAnd you unsurprisingly are confused about the unity. Voting is either right or left. Keep insisting the 'no true leftie' thing though. It reminds me of the 'no true scotsman' thing that was popular back in the day.
I'm not here to handhold. You couldn't find them because (in large part) of this ban. If you want, you can listen to their material, and make your own assessment. If you want me to tell you something, just assume that you proved me wrong, whether or not you looked into the material on your own.Not so fast. Here is the basic plan, though for the banning details, you'll have to satisfy yourself.

Sure, let's not check any medications. I'm sure big Pharma can be trusted to thoroughly vet all their products, rather than rushing them into production to make quick bucks...Cunt wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 8:26 pmYes, we don't PAY for the FDA. I don't know why you would want to, it is an expensive bunch of bureaucrats.
It's like Vancouver, BC. It pays no tax to Washington, but can use Seattle for anything it wants.

Incorrect. Politics is not inherently binary. Not being able to think past the dangerous simplicity of left vs right means that you have no idea of the complex nature of political positions.

In the US voting is either right or centre-right. The fact that the Republican Party's policies are further to the right than the Democrats' does not make them left.Cunt wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 9:51 pmVoting is either right or left. It's a not a matter hand-holding. It's a matter of providing evidence for the allegation that "The Unity Party, which was created by scientists in 2020, was quickly banned by social media." Plonking down a link with two hours worth of video does not qualify. And yes, until you actually provide evidence that the Unity Party has been banned by social media, it's just an assertion you pulled out of your or someone else's arse. Of course it does not mean that the assertion is untrue. It just means that no evidence has been provided justifying a belief that it is.Cunt wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 9:51 pmI'm not here to handhold. Of course it does. In a couple of significant ways.Hermit wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 10:14 pmIn the US voting is either right or centre-right. First, it is 'left of' the republicans, so it is on the left, by everyone's understanding.
Second, voters who are 'on the left' will still find themselves choosing the candidate OF THE LEFT. Like Sanders. Unless the left likes Biden more.
I don't mind if you don't believe it. If you are really interested, Dark Horse podcast is where they mentioned it, and you can hunt it down a bit before the election.

Re: All Things Biden: Is It Over Yet?
I don't, you are right. In the US though, it is generally a choice between one party or the other. Not much different than a binary choice.

Like water is colder than steam, so it is ice by everyone's understanding?
No, Daggles. You alleged that "The Unity Party, which was created by scientists in 2020, was quickly banned by social media." It is up to you to to back it up with evidence. It is not up to me to hunt it down.

Re: All Things Biden: Is It Over Yet?
You are correct about the 2 party system in the US being virtually binary. Mind you, it is fairly common (but not universal) in democracies around the world.
It is also fair to say that the Democrats are "to the left" of the Republicans, in a variety of policy areas, both economic and social. But this is just a relative thing.
It stretches the word to label the Democrats as "the left". They have no interest or desire in limiting or reducing private ownership. Corporate America can and will work with them comfortably, and will put up with minor irritations involving minor increases to the minimum wage, or taxes on the wealthy, or somewhat tougher environmental regulation. To label them as truly left would have Marx spinning in his grave...
