An article from Sanders that makes sad reading especially when you know how the Repugs will react.

Joe Biden must put an end to business as usual. Here's where to start
Bernie Sanders wrote:In this time of unprecedented crises, Congress and the Biden administration must respond through unprecedented action

A record-breaking 4,000 Americans are now dying each day from Covid-19, while the federal government fumbles vaccine production and distribution, testing and tracing. In the midst of the worst pandemic in 100 years, more than 90 million Americans are uninsured or underinsured and can’t afford to go to a doctor when they get sick. The isolation and anxiety caused by the pandemic has resulted in a huge increase in mental illness.
4000? You can't trust that number. Fairy data.

Meh. Unity has almost always been the first thing an incoming government has called for, regardless of which part of the political spectrum it occupies. What does it really mean? Here's a hint: One antonym of unity is opposition. Others are "disagreement", "discord", "fighting"...

Which is exactly what the Repugs will be doing in making sure the chaos will continue. I dont think Joe will be having a long Honeymoon. He simply has not got the power.
They can ram through anything they want in the Senate with Harris having the deciding vote in the inevitable case of a 50-50 tie...
Not quite. They need 60 to get past a filibuster. Or they could get rid of the filibuster, but I don't think a Biden administration will have the balls to do that.

Alternatively, they can get around the filibuster by way of the reconciliation process, but they only get one or two of those a year.
Apparently they can create another four Senate seats for DC and Puerto Rica.
...even if that doesn't work, they should anyway just to piss off the Republicans.

What about the Pat Riot Party, when is that to be launched?

Covid EO:
One of the orders will direct agencies to use the Defense Production Act to address critical shortfalls in 12 categories of items needed for testing, treating and vaccinating people for COVID-19: vaccines, N95 masks, gowns, gloves, test supplies and kits, lab analysis machines, therapeutic drugs and other supplies — and will work to spur production of the items in America.

Christ, we aren't two days in and we've got a dozen or more executive orders, memorandums, proclamations, and who knows what else to sift through! Trying to be an informed citizen ought to come with yearly benefits e.g. pass a general knowledge test and receive x amount of dollars...

Nothing to see here! Move along folks. No new orders, every order erases Trump.

The Unity Party, which was created by scientists in 2020, was quickly banned by social media. The big tech platform operators didn't give a reason.
I can't find a reason the big tech platform operators gave for banning the Unity Party of America either. It might have something to do with the fact that they did not ban it.

Now that the election is over, maybe they unbanned them.

You'll have to ask the scientist who started it, if you want to know more.

I don't doubt that it doesn't matter to you. He identifies as 'far left', and clearly you don't know your left from your right. (in the US)

The choices there remain right (republican) or left (democrat)...
The Democrat Party is not left.

I guess you're just trolling me now because you chose not to comment on this graphic when I posted it upthread four hours ago.

Post all the pictures you want, but in the US, there are two choices, one associated with the right, and one which you wish to not associate with the left.

Those on the left may feel as you do, but they still have to make a choice. We know how they choose. Now lets see what the left can build on their successes.

We're going to be real regular, not constipated, as we were under Trump. Eating all that junk food with Diet Coke:

To tackle these challenges effectively, executive departments and agencies (agencies) must be equipped with the flexibility to use robust regulatory action to address national priorities. This order revokes harmful policies and directives that threaten to frustrate the Federal Government’s ability to confront these problems, and empowers agencies to use appropriate regulatory tools to achieve these goals.

Which order is that?

The order calling for a study of how well the government is doing to address inequality is interesting. As is the order to bring the feds inline with CDC recommendations. Of course those recommendations are themselves under review now...

I get the impression you think I was complaining about the number of orders because government shouldn't do so much, but really it's just about the realization of what's required to know what you're talking about.
