Re: Qanon
Conspiracy theory holders are always polite about other conspiracy theories, even if there are massive logical clashes between various theories. They stick together against the might of the Deep State...
Nurse, where the fuck's my cardigan?
And my gin!
And my gin!
Re: Qanon
It doesn't. If you want to express an opinion which contradicts anything amazon and google care about, you may not. You also may not read it.
Be interesting to see how Parler's lawsuit against amazon will go. My guess is that most people would prefer the board of amazon controlling what they can hear, read and say, than that riotous, dangerous freedom and individuality.
No problem, as long as nothing you ever have to say runs against them.
Re: Qanon
I'd like to see Amazon seized and nationalized.
Re: Qanon
Between your seizing it, and nationalizing it, I ask a small favour...
Packages aren't needed. Full service would have Amazon take your order, have someone carry it to your house, where you open it, remove the item, and leave the empty delivery case with them.
Returns handled the same way.
Amazon, driven by crippling packaging costs, is MUCH better placed to put a dent in the packaging mess, than are individual consumers, or even large companies.
Then you can turn it over to Merkel.
Re: Qanon
In a few years, there'll be Alexa boxes in our living rooms. You just approach them, say "Alexa, I want a pack of condoms, medium size, banana taste, lactose free" and pop! they'll magically appear in the box within seconds.
Re: Qanon
Can't have it unless it's gluten-free and plant-based. Oh, and halal, kosher and made of fish in case I want to cram it into a catholic on a Friday.

See, finally some positive optimistic fairy tales! Not all the gloomy QAnon fairy tales!
Re: Qanon
You found qanon 'gloomy'?
Weird, it always looked like merriment and hopefulness to me, but I don't pretend I fully empathize with parts of that community.

If you are into men with uniforms and big guns, there are some sites I can recommend.
Re: Qanon
I've already plenty of folks around me with both, and may even have some of that lying around.
No, I'm more a 'strava' kind of guy when it comes to social media. The left-wing nutter sites (twatter, fakebook et al) or the right-wing nutter sites (parler, gab et al) never really have much of interest. Makers Playground is promising, in that it seems to skew away from talking, more toward doing. Similar to strava, now that I think of it.

Yeah. Men in sneakers and sportswear. That's more my type of kink.

Re: Qanon
You're using a definition of "never really have much of interest" I have not hitherto encountered. All of the 11 links you included in your posts in the 48 hours before Parler went offline come from that right wing nutter site. There are more, perhaps about 50 between the 11th of December and a couple of days ago, but I stopped counting.
So, yeah, I think you are economical with the truth here.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein’s brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops. - Stephen J. Gould
