...is crazy winning, or does it just feel like that?
The latest fad is a poverty social. Every woman must wear calico,
and every man his old clothes. In addition each is fined 25 cents if
he or she does not have a patch on his or her clothing. If these
parties become a regular thing, says an exchange, won't there be
a good chance for newspaper men to shine?

Yeah. Right.

A Deal on Drug Prices Undone by White House Insistence on ‘Trump Cards’
The White House and the pharmaceutical industry were nearing a major deal to lower drug prices. Then the administration demanded that $100 cash cards be sent to millions of seniors before the election — and the industry balked.

Some of the drugmakers bridled at being party towhat they feared would be seen as an 11th-hour political boost for Mr. Trump, the people familiar with the matter said.

More stuff before election. Trump will nominate and Mitch approve Ginsberg's replacement. How soon can Canada open up some abortion clinics for us?

Expand the court and pack it.

If I understand correctly they'll have to invoke the Nuclear Option to force a vote, and with the Dump Trump squad in the Senate they might not have the votes.

This late term shit is nothing new. The Dems tried it in 2013 but failed.

And once they have the Presidency, House, and Senate again (which they will at some point) they absolutely will expand and pack the court. Then the GOP will do the same thing in turn.

There is nothing new under the sun, all is vanity.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

It's a mistake to believe the GOP will always be in a position to make calls like that. The majority not only don't support them now, they've also hitched themselves to an increasingly irrelevant religion.

They may force a crisis, but they have no future.

That's not to say they won't inflict suffering on their way to the grave, nasty fuckers usually do.

Didn't the Repugs block Obama's nomination to the Supreme Court for 18 months because there was a general election on the horizon?
