Governor spends coronavirus recovery money to bring in tourists. They have so many local cases a few tourists could not make a difference.

So Trump was telling Bob Woodward in February that he'd been briefed in January about Covid being airborne, highly contagious, 5x more deadly that the seasonal flu, and probably the biggest threat to the US he'd face during his presidency, while at the same time he was telling the American public that it was not a problem, a Democrat hoax and would blow away on the wind by the Spring.

March 15th. Chicago O'Hare Airport. US citizens being packed together after returning from Europe.

If any attempt was made to track and trace, how many of these people became infected, and died? Trump knew at this stage that it would be spread by close contact.

I doubt he cared, and I'm pretty sure the panic he wanted to avoid was on the stock market.

Why, because accepting the alternative would mean admitting mistakes were made? That's what leaders do.

Can we replace them with AI yet? I'm sure we can program near perfect integrity, and what a difference that would make!

Yeah, yeah, don't get excited. That asshole would have encouraged you to continue to follow the law regardless of your leaders too... :fp:

The state is claiming only about 200 people were infected as a result of the rally. The answer's probably somewhere between the two guesses...

Yeah, but you know who'd be in charge of appointing the integrity algorithm committee don't you? :)

The "German" study was actually performed by US scientists (Bentley University, University of Colorado Denver, University of San Diego-California, San DIego State University, CHEPS San Diego)

It was just financed by a foundation that was originally founded by Deutsche Post (The German equivalent of US Postal Service). Okay, they might have a reason to not like Trump :)

Gotta go with old Nicolo.
