I suppose it's appropriate that this appeared in Raw Story. :o

Trump urged Sarah Sanders to ‘take one for the team’ after Kim Jong-un winked at her
President Donald Trump urged Sarah Huckabee Sanders to “take one for the team” after North Korean leader Kim Jong-un appeared to wink at her during a 2018 summit.

The former White House press secretary revealed the interaction in her forthcoming memoir, “Speaking for Myself,” which The Guardian obtained and reported on.

“Kim Jong-un hit on you!” Trump told his press secretary, according to the book. “He did! He f*cking hit on you!”

Sanders said the wink came as Trump and Kim talked about sports, including women’s soccer, and she looked up to see the North Korean leader staring at her.

“We made direct eye contact and Kim nodded and appeared to wink at me,” she wrote. “I was stunned. I quickly looked down and continued taking notes.”

“All I could think was, ‘What just happened? Surely Kim Jong-un did not just mark me!?’” she added.

Later, in the presidential “Beast” limousine on the way to the airport, Sanders relayed the incident to Trump and his then chief of staff, John Kelly, and the president’s reaction seemed to embarrass her.

“Sir, please stop,” she said, protesting the idea that Kim had flirted with her.

Kelly agreed with Trump, who then joked that she should visit him privately in North Korea.

“Well, Sarah, that settles it,” Trump said, according to Sanders. “You’re going to North Korea and taking one for the team! Your husband and kids will miss you, but you’ll be a hero to your country!”

Sanders said the president and his chief of staff “howled with laughter” as they drove on.

High level international diplomacy carried out in august bedrooms is a funny business. As is sending an underling to service the supreme leader of a dictatorship. You can't blame the pricks for having a laugh. :naughty:

Welp, the game is up. All those citizens of New York, Washington DC, Seattle, and Portland who've been paying their taxes and generally obeying the law over the years have been exposed, entirely due to the genius of the President of the United States. THEY'RE ANARCHISTS!!! And really, federal dollars should not go to anarchists. The president has ordered that a report be produced on how to strangle anarchy in those cities by withholding federal funds.

'Trump floats pulling federal money from "anarchist" cities'
President Donald Trump ordered a review of cities' treatment of law enforcement Wednesday, potentially holding back federal funds if the administration finds a jurisdiction "disempowers" or "defunds" its police department.

In a memorandum released Wednesday, Trump directed the White House Office of Management and Budget to issue guidance for federal agencies on curtailing funds to areas the memo calls "anarchist jurisdictions" within the next 30 days. The memo also directs Attorney General William Barr to publish on the Department of Justice website a list of jurisdictions that have "permitted violence and the destruction of property." Federal agencies will also receive guidance on reporting on federal funds they distribute to several Democrat-led cities.

The memo specifically calls out Seattle; Portland, Ore.; New York; and Washington, D.C., for investigation.

She should shut up and be grateful that he (Trump) didn't grab her by the pussy.

Trump made a speech in which he advised those listening to vote twice, once by mail and once in person. Given that is a felony, I think the technical term for what Trump did is criminal solicitation.

Kind of 'meh' when in the context of Trump's habitual trampling of the rule of law. Slightly more interesting was Attorney General Toady doing his best to tap-dance around the fact that his boss had just engaged in criminal solicitation.

Hunter Biden’s business dealings in China served the “strategic interests” of the country’s communist government and military — and may have imperiled American national security, claims a new documentary exclusively previewed by The Post.

Donald Trump told Sarah Sanders she would have to “go to North Korea and take one for the team”, after Kim Jong-un winked at the then White House press secretary during a summit in Singapore in June 2018.

“Kim Jong-un hit on you!” a delighted Trump joked, according to Sanders’ new memoir. “He did! He fucking hit on you!”

Speaking for Myself will be released next Tuesday. The Guardian obtained a copy.

Rather than a tell-all by a former staffer or a burn-all by a hostile family member, the book is a paean to the president by a loyal follower with the subtitle Faith, Freedom and the Fight of Our Lives Inside the Trump White House.

Sanders is from a notable Republican family – her father is Mike Huckabee, a candidate for the presidential nomination in 2008 and 2016 – and reportedly has her eye on a run for governor in Arkansas.

However, somewhat in the manner of leaked sections that took aim at the former national security adviser John Bolton after he turned on Trump, Sanders does describe boorish or misogynistic behavior by the president and senior aides that may make campaign aides wince, particularly as Trump trails Joe Biden among women.

Of the incident with Kim, whom Trump courted assiduously in the first two years of his presidency, Sanders describes a session at the Singapore talks in which the dictator “reluctantly” accepted a Tic Tac from Trump, who “dramatically blew into the air to reassure Kim it was just a breath mint” and not a capsule of poison.

The two men also talked about sports, including women’s soccer. Then, Sanders writes, she looked up “to notice Kim staring at me. We made direct eye contact and Kim nodded and appeared to wink at me. I was stunned. I quickly looked down and continued taking notes.

“… All I could think was, ‘What just happened? Surely Kim Jong-un did not just mark me!?’”

Later, in the presidential “Beast” limousine on the way to the airport, Sanders relayed the incident to Trump and his then chief of staff, John Kelly.

“Kim Jong-un hit on you!” Trump said. “He did! He fucking hit on you!”

Sanders, a devout Christian who discusses her faith throughout her book, does not spell out the presidential expletive. But she does write that she told Trump that was not what she meant, and said: “Sir, please stop.”

Kelly backed up the president and Trump joked: “Well, Sarah, that settles it. You’re going to North Korea and taking one for the team! Your husband and kids will miss you, but you’ll be a hero to your country!”

Trump and Kelly, Sanders writes, “howled with laughter” as the car drove on.

Trump has met Kim three times – in Singapore, in Hanoi and in the demilitarised zone between North and South Korea. He has not convinced Kim to give up his nuclear weapons, which Sanders says would take a “miracle”.

You'd think two more months would be easy, but it's only getting harder. I've even lost the ability to stay aloof from family. They sent me some #walkaway nonsense --have you seen it-- and that was it, I became a raving TDS loon.
The latest fad is a poverty social. Every woman must wear calico,
and every man his old clothes. In addition each is fined 25 cents if
he or she does not have a patch on his or her clothing. If these
parties become a regular thing, says an exchange, won't there be
a good chance for newspaper men to shine?
