So maybe you remember january 2015 when islamic killers murdered a dozen people at French satiric magazine Charlie Hebdo. The killers could not be taken alive, but many presumed accomplices were caught, and their trial starts today.

As part of the furor about the matter, a poll was taken in the French population about who condemned the attacks wholesale or not. 18% of muslim responders say they did not completely blame the killers... and 19% of protestants.

I just have to wonder what brand of stupidity those protestants cling to.

It's easier to agree on what are dangerous biological vectors than what are dangerous memes. Although many of the latter most definitely fall either on the dangerous or the harmless side, there are many others about which debate will never cease. In the absence of universally applicable criteria by which a fine line between dangerous and harmless can be established, the question of who decides on where to draw one becomes problematic.
