It's even less comforting that they had Clinton winning by much more than Biden is now.
Biden is a twit.

He should've taken a trip to Texas and Louisiana, while Trump was playing with fireworks.

:sadcheer: What a missed opportunity. :sadcheer:
Of course he is, even among the faux pas prone of recent veeps, he was infamous for his gaffes.

Is it just me or does this election seem significantly more crazy that in previous years?

Given the shenanigans and feats of ludicrousness that happened 4 years ago, I'm not sure this one is really worse, at least, the unthinkable is not happening, we've had a term to get used to the fact that which should never be allowed to be has become par for the course.

He can't go anywhere because he'll wander off and get lost.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

WASHINGTON — Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden says he's planning to hit the campaign trail - in person - after Labor Day, including likely visits to Minnesota, Wisconsin, and other critical battleground states.

During a fundraiser Thursday, Biden said he’ll start doing in-person events “a way that is totally consistent with being responsible.” Biden named Wisconsin, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Arizona as some of the states that are under consideration by his campaign for in-person events.

Yeah, Texas especially is able --I think-- to go blue at any election now. I've thought about starting some community project to get people registered and to the polls. I wonder if there's any government money to be had for such a project...

The loser could not even gain from his all star cast and all the pomp:

Approval for his leadership on COVID-19 continues to hover in the low- to mid-30s, tracking his overall favorability rating.

Only 34% of the country felt that this year's GOP convention maintained the right balance between criticizing Democrats and touting their own party's achievements, compared to 45% who believed the same about the Democrats following their convention.

Almost 2 in 3 Americans (62%) felt that the Republicans spent too much time criticizing their opponents, compared to 51% who said the same about Democrats.

Trump is not going to live 12 more years. When he loses the election, rapid decline.
