He should've taken a trip to Texas and Louisiana, while Trump was playing with fireworks.

Is it just me or does this election seem significantly more crazy that in previous years?

Re: US Election 2020
Given the shenanigans and feats of ludicrousness that happened 4 years ago, I'm not sure this one is really worse, at least, the unthinkable is not happening, we've had a term to get used to the fact that which should never be allowed to be has become par for the course.

Sleepy Joe visiting states after Trump goes thru starting riots.
During a fundraiser Thursday, Biden said he’ll start doing in-person events “a way that is totally consistent with being responsible.” Biden named Wisconsin, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Arizona as some of the states that are under consideration by his campaign for in-person events.
WASHINGTON — Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden says he's planning to hit the campaign trail - in person - after Labor Day, including likely visits to Minnesota, Wisconsin, and other critical battleground states.

Yeah, Texas especially is able --I think-- to go blue at any election now. I've thought about starting some community project to get people registered and to the polls. I wonder if there's any government money to be had for such a project...rainbow wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2020 9:24 amBiden is a twit.Sean Hayden wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2020 7:27 pmIt's even less comforting that they had Clinton winning by much more than Biden is now.

The latest fad is a poverty social. Every woman must wear calico,
and every man his old clothes. In addition each is fined 25 cents if
he or she does not have a patch on his or her clothing. If these
parties become a regular thing, says an exchange, won't there be
a good chance for newspaper men to shine?

The loser could not even gain from his all star cast and all the pomp:

Approval for his leadership on COVID-19 continues to hover in the low- to mid-30s, tracking his overall favorability rating.
Only 34% of the country felt that this year's GOP convention maintained the right balance between criticizing Democrats and touting their own party's achievements, compared to 45% who believed the same about the Democrats following their convention.
Almost 2 in 3 Americans (62%) felt that the Republicans spent too much time criticizing their opponents, compared to 51% who said the same about Democrats.
