I don't think it's terribly corrupt, other than the top few percent of the economy. I'ts one of the 3 Asian countries I have visited.

For Scotty: 60 people infected by one person in Seoul Starbucks, while employees wearing KF95 masks were spared:

That is hard proof? How did the rest survive? South Korea is a total disaster zone.
I think not.

As for total cases per million:
World average 3115, South Korea 356
For total deaths per million:
World average 106, South Korea 6

Do you believe they are higher or lower than stated?

I dont believe anything but do you? How about African and the Americas data? Do you without question accept that data. Even from a country as Somalia, the most corrupt country on the planet? Do you accept that data. It is all a game. How many deaths are we talking about? Please. More have been killed on the worlds' roads (once again if you believe the data).I am always very sceptical about so called "world" data.

Well, I don't know a single person with the Covid here in Florida, which is supposedly the epicenter of the fucking world now. I also don't know a single person in Swaziland with it.

So it's all fake.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Exactly lak. My wife has an extensive social network but she knows no one in her circle that has been contaminated or anyone in Ireland. It is quite amazing but understandable. The claim is 500 new cases have been diagnosed. That means they have tested positive even though the numbers tested has doubled. Talk about clutching at the wind. Paranoia has gone over the top. People here have had enough. This pretence has out lived its usefulness.

This argument could be applied to anything we do to protect human life. Think about Dutch bike infrastructure. There's so much effort and money put into it, but so few people are dying while biking. Only 200 bikers died in the Netherlands last year. The Netherlands has probably spent millions of euro on bike infrastructure per person that is dying. All that wasted money.

Also speed limits. It's depriving us of our basic rights. Just a few hundred people died in traffic last year in the Netherlands. So it cannot be justified to impose those speed limits on everyone.

Also
The Netherlands recorded 613 road fatalities in 2017, representing a 2.5% decrease when compared to 2016. The mortality rate was 3.6 deaths per 100 000 population. People over 75 years are the most at risk in traffic, with a mortality rate three times higher than that of the general population.
Most traffic deaths are the elderly who would have died soon anyway. How do we know they died because of traffic and not just in traffic? You can't trust the numbers.

Most likely heart attacks and strokes, and the corrupt authorities are making it look like "accidents".
...just so they can oppress the people with speed limits.

You can't claim to have no view on whether the figures for SK are high or lower than stated while telling everybody else that they're wrong. IF you can't tell anyone how or what way they are wrong while saying that they are then all you're doing is shouting into the wind for affect.

Seems to me you're rather keen to point the finger at every other country in the World but are completely resistent to applying the same level of scepticism on your own doorstep. There's a word for that you know.

As for the anti-mask nutters and those who disparage the elderly (because they are vulnerable), I think they should be charged with attempted murder of a person or persons unknown (if there is such a charge) and certainly charged with attempted murder if they try to force a mask off a person.
If a person becomes infected with the virus because of another persons 'persuasions', and death ensues as a result (either themselves or a relative), then the 'persuader' should be charged with murder.
That might bring them to their senses.
