Re: The Coronavirus Thread
So these masks cause infection? How do they do that? The virus can't live in the mask. It needs actual human cells. It's not like bacteria.

Re: The Coronavirus Thread
Tero, just read everything again.
Masks does not protect you but they protect every one from you. (myth 1)
There is no scientific evidence that masks work.
The countries that had the severest regulations have the biggest problems.
The"extreme markets" in Indonesia are still open.
The countries with the most liberal regimes are now stable.
Masks are shit useless.

Re: The Coronavirus Thread
Tero, If you have the virus and you are wearing a mask what do think is collecting inside your mask? It eventually makes its way to the outside of your mask which you touch 23 times a minute. Do I need to explain more?

Re: The Coronavirus Thread
But as long as some of the virus is stuck in the mask, there it will die.

Re: The Coronavirus Thread

Perhaps you just don't like the government advising people to take care because you had a dose in January when nobody was paying attention - I mean, why should you care about the health and well-being of other people when nobody seemed to care about you, eh?

How many more laps do you intend to do with him?Brian Peacock wrote: ↑Tue Aug 25, 2020 1:00 amCome on Scott. There's an overwhelming amount of evidence for the efficacy of masks in the clinical setting and a growing body of evidence for their efficacy in non-clinical settings during this pandemic. They 'work' to reduce the transmission risk of respirtory viral and bacterial agents. The more you say they don't work the sillier your statements appear. Even your own supposedly 'liberal' health officials say they work when people are informed about the best way to use them. Fine by me if you don't want to wear one, but your idea of normalcy is not the normative standard to which all others should adhere - particularly when you repeatedly ignore and/or talking down public health and medical advice and justify it by trotting out guff indistinguishable from right-wing tinfoil-hat conspiracies.

There is no clear scientific evidence that the world is round spheroidically oblate. Government agencies are in control of all the data. Do you believe them?
