There's an overwhelming amount of evidence for the efficacy of masks in the clinical setting and a growing body of evidence for their efficacy in non-clinical settings during this pandemic. They 'work' to reduce the transmission risk of respirtory viral and bacterial agents. The more you say they don't work the sillier your statements appear. Even your own supposedly 'liberal' health officials say they work when people are informed about the best way to use them. Fine by me if you don't want to wear one, but your idea of normalcy is not the normative standard to which all others should adhere - particularly when you repeatedly ignore and/or talking down public health and medical advice and justify it by trotting out guff indistinguishable from right-wing tinfoil-hat conspiracies.

Perhaps you just don't like the government advising people to take care because you had a dose in January when nobody was paying attention - I mean, why should you care about the health and well-being of other people when nobody seemed to care about you, eh?
