I remember the Imperial Institute had a model that predicted in one month there would be 200 million deaths world wide. We have just under 5000 (if you believe the figures) for the whole crisis. As I said before 35,000 die every year from stress related illnesses.
I heard a quote today; "Why do we impose such measures on society to save only such a few". Why don't we do it for all common influenza? Why has this gripped society so much. We are talking peanut numbers which we cant trust anyway. Just what is the political gain?

Sorry they are not scientific studies. They are just observations. They prove zilch.

Jim if you are willing to believe unscientific crap go ahead. These are purely observations. There is nothing scientific. Double blind or even a control group. No specs or protocol. Forget it. Like so much justifying non-actions. He is not an old Dutch geezer.
Keep drinking the kool aid Jim. I see South Korea is rocketing despite masks and lockdown. Those markets are open again. But even so what numbers are we talking about? We have reached three quarter of a million (That is you accept the data). Please. How many have been killed on the worlds roads? Or have died from cancer? This is so little why is the polticians of the world reacting in this way? Just what is their agenda?

I see Scot is back to comparing numbers with strong control measures against other things like flu or road accidents were there aren't extra control measures. I thought he'd worked out how fucking dumb this is. Seems not.
