State has 400 new cases daily. 10% of population has been tested at least once.

Face coverings can't be disposable:

Face Coverings
Face coverings reduce the spread of droplets containing the COVID-19 virus
Staff and students are required to wear a multilayer cloth face covering in the school setting.
Face coverings are the strategy to accommodate the school setting where six feet of physical distance is not practical.
No scientific proof.

So if we can't rely on governments, public health officials, medicial researchers, independent academics, investigative journalists, or doctors for information on a virulent contagion who can we rely on? Your brand of epistemological nihilism is fundamentally self-defeating and counter productive to rational public policy, and it's essentially what lobbyist for the tobacco and fossil fuel industries and the finance sector have been pushing for the last 50 years. How does it feel to be able to say that nobody can ever know anything about anything? This view represents a fundamental paradox of the same type as, "Everything I say is a lie."

A great article in this morning's Volkskrant which shows how many perceive the so-called crisis.

Hou op met de bangmakerij. Koele cijfers moeten we hebben, en harde feiten

"Stop all this scaremongering and give us cool figures and hard facts".

A Dutch behavioural scientist claims there should a daily edition of shocking pictures to keep the public's mind focused on Covid which of course is obviously the purpose of the masks.

By now, anyone finding the sight of a mask shocking is probably too delicate for this world and should be shielded from life's vicissitudes for they're own good.

How am I less human exactly?

Here we need a poll of Trump voters:
-Would you take a vaccine approved by WHO?
-would you take oleandrin?

That's a statement, not an explanation of how accepting masks as a measure that helps reduce specific risks makes me less than human. Have another stab at it.

You seam not to understand what dehumanisation means and like Hermit you start a merry-go-round but I am sorry not getting on. It is a form of discussion that for some reason appeals to Anglo-Saxon and Anglo-Saxonphiles. Dutch discussions are direct but you just love to tip-toe round the edges. I find it very boring. We discuss and make decisions. You have discussions and agree to discuss further. As the Irish say "put it on the long finger".
This whole discussion around masks is typical. We decided after a deep discussion looking at all the evidence that masks serve no purpose you come back with the "just in case" scenario. We had two deaths in 17 million people and we have to wear masks? JFCOAPS. Just imagining living in a "just in case" world. Belt and braces "just in case".

I think it's pretty clear from my question that I understand what dehumanisation is - and you seem to understand what it means as well - but that still doesn't go any further to explain the hows, whys and wherefores does it?

Perhaps a definition will ensure we're at least on common ground as far as 'dehumanisation' goes, and thus it might help you to justify your statement about me...
dehumanisation noun
  1. The process of depriving a person or group of positive human qualities.
Feel free to cite your own definition if you feel that one is inadequate.

So I'll ask you again: What human qualities or attributes am I lacking or deprived of by accepting that masks can help reduce the risk of transmission of a virulent respiratory infection? I'll just point out again that it is you who is saying that I am less than human here, and so it's up to you to explain how I am divested of certain essential human qualities. I think this is important because at the moment it appears that it's only you who are keen to dispossess me of my human identity and/or individuality.
