Tik-Tok and K-pop stick it up the man!

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-06-22/ ... y/12378768
S President Donald Trump's first campaign rally since the coronavirus pandemic received more than 1 million ticket requests.

So when just over 6,000 people showed up to the event on Saturday in Tulsa, Oklahoma, many were left wondering if the poor turnout had something to do with a viral TikTok video.

In the week leading up to the rally — which was originally (and controversially) scheduled for Friday, June 19 — TikTok users jumped on a trend that involved reserving tickets without having any intention of attending.

Korean pop music fans are a massive coordinated online community, and they have become an unexpected ally to Black Lives Matter protesters.

In the past few weeks, the K-pop hive have flooded right-wing hashtags such as "White Lives Matter" and "Blue Lives Matter" with clips and memes of K-pop stars.

They also overwhelmed a Dallas police app that asked for people to submit videos of protesters engaging in illegal activity.

These fan accounts played a big role in spreading information about the Tulsa rally, encouraging people to register and not show.

Trump's return from his not so successful rally at Tulsa, Oklahoma.

I actually feel sorry for him. Really. I do. Trouble is, he will not have learnt anything from the spectacular failure. Anything and everything that does not pan out to his liking is always someone else's fault.

I know. I know. Not all Trump supporters are KKK.

But all KKK are Trump supporters.

How much bigger and more ridiculous can American hats get? Is it like the bigger your hat the smaller your wang?

Notwithstanding the mindless bravado of some Trump supporters about the virus, I wonder whether the numbers were seriously down because of Covid-19 fears among potential attendees, or whether it represents a true reduction of support for Trump?
Maybe it was because the Trump campaign announced there would be so many people coming. If there are a million people that registered but the arena holds only 50k people, there is a high risk you won't make it into the arena and have to watch on a screen outside. Then why not stay at home and watch on the tele in the first place? You won't harm Trump because there's already another million people going there.

Elsewhere:
Q: What will they do if it happens at the next rally? Who will they blame for that?
A: It won't, even if they have to hire 100,000 "extras" to attend. Plenty of people out there who could use 50 bucks for a couple of hours work
