Re: All Things Trump: Is it over yet?
I've actually ordered a Trump joke book, sort of. It is trump tweets edited and illustrated by Trevor Noah and gang. I might order a few more after our ordeal is over.
I have only one other book that deals with his era. It deals with media coverage. A very academic book with these charts of related things in 2D. And I ordered a book on a county that went wildly Trump in 2016, with interviews of local people. Two thirds of white males across the country voted Trump so it should not be hard to find opinionated voters. But the used bookstore sent me a book on a European author of the early 1900s instead. I asked them if I needed to send it back. They sent me the prepaid mailing sheet to tape on an envelope I paid for. Somebody else got my Trump county book.

Can an employer legally fire someone for refusing to wear a specific political message? The answer is: maybe.
I'm sure the boot-lickers won't get the irony.

Well would you look at that. Trump appointee votes to extend LBGT workplace protections.
https://www.cnn.com/2020/06/15/politics ... index.html
I thought the world was coming to an end when he was appointed, and that LBGT people would be hunted in the streets? What happened?
The other appointee, Kavanaugh, dissented, but congratulated the LBGT community. His dissent was based on separation of powers, not the case itself.

Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.
Re: All Things Trump: Is it over yet?
I think the BLM Trans rally had higher attendance than the Trump rally.
If BLM was really a Democratic rally, it would indicate trouble for Trump in the upcoming election.
Of course, the protests and riots are NOT a DNC rally AT ALL. That would be illegal, and BLM probably sends all the funds they raise to worthy causes, NOT the Democrat party.
At least it should be that way. I'm sure some supporters of the movement know where their money goes. Maybe they'll even report it.

BLM is not a membership organization such as the NRA. There are chapters and local leaders. Anyway, it's not Antifa.
Black people can send their mpney to any candidate they like. Even collected money.

You sound like a supporter. If you are, you'll surely be able to say what kind of corporate structure they have, and where their raised funds go.
Unless you are just another of those 'virtue signallers', who say they support BLM without knowing what the organization is, what it does with the money it raises.
I don't support that corporation (or is it a charity?) because I don't know what they do with the funds they collect.

Re: All Things Trump: Is it over yet?
I just googled it. They have an organization and leadership. It talked of millions for a recent gift of some sort. To some organization.
Re: All Things Trump: Is it over yet?
I know about the site. Doublespeak doesn't really tell me much though...
OK, so a global organization...with it's main activities in countries where people are the richest.Black Lives Matter Foundation, Inc is a global organization in the US, UK, and Canada,
Wait - local power?whose mission is to eradicate white supremacy and build local power
In a global organization?
Again, I don't understand where the money raised goes. The only place that is clear, is that if BLM doesn't use funds, they are left for Act Blue to disperse.
So black lives matter seems to have a distinct blue tinge to it...but there isn't much more about how their local stuff is handled.
Maybe very well. A supporter would know. A shallow 'virtue signaler' would not know, or wouldn't care.

As I understand the current limits to Federal powers, there is no way that any proclamation by Trump can mandate real change in the 19,000 separate law enforcement jurisdiction in the USA.
