Re: Spygate is unravelling
This is all great news for Republicans, terrible news for those who favor impartial application of the law.

It's almost as if Bill Barr is an expert at getting Republican criminals off the hook, as he did with Iran–Contra.

Mueller applied all the law he had. Schiff insisted he had evidence.
None.
Years of screeching by media (supported by leaks by Dems) and now you call investigating it 'impartial application of the law'.
Schiff said clearly he saw evidence - NOT circumstantial. Clearly he hid that evidence, or lied in the first place.
Some will still act like Trump has something to do with this, other than being the victim of Schiff-and-Co. bullshit attacks. It's going to be funny watching them cry more and more as their 'heroes' go down for their well-documented crimes.
The best part - corroboration from other countries will also be written off this way. (when you do, Seabass, I won't believe it, but I'll enjoy it)

You should run for Republican president of the United States, Cnut.

I would rather someone qualified, more aptitude.
Trump is too 'showman'. I'm hoping Crenshaw moves up the rankings.
I wish there were promising Democrats to get behind, but they all got shoved to the back of the bus by Biden and whoever insists he be the choice.

I've never understood why a criminal can't be a hero. In fact, if your society is fucked up enough, only the criminal will be, surely?Cunt wrote: ↑Fri May 08, 2020 7:04 pmMueller applied all the law he had. Schiff insisted he had evidence.

The latest fad is a poverty social. Every woman must wear calico,
and every man his old clothes. In addition each is fined 25 cents if
he or she does not have a patch on his or her clothing. If these
parties become a regular thing, says an exchange, won't there be
a good chance for newspaper men to shine?

The Trump administration totally makes a mockery of the Second Amendment defense that armed citizens are required to fight against a tyrannical government.

The tyranny of using the 'Jury Tax' on Flynn?
No need to shoot people willy-nilly over that. There are laws, and Sessions, Barr and Durham will sort out the needed evidence.

Re: Spygate is unravelling
Yeah, it's all fairly abstract and far removed from the lives of Americans. Plus, if we had to pick up our guns every time a "tyrant" threatened to turn us into Nazi Germany we'd have a revolution roughly every 4-8 years.

Plus, no one seems to have asked, "But what if the armed citizens side with the tyrant?" Which is the case here where the gun nuts are all aligned with Trump and celebrate his corruption and seem poised for the word to go "defend" him.
There seems to be a ludicrous assumption the armed citizens will be the good guys.

By 'corruption' I'm guessing you mean federalism, constitution...bill of rights...that sort of 'corruption'?
Or are you going on about how they illegally went after Flynn again?

I've asked that in this forum before. My concern is that the military and police are not diverse enough. Q.E.D.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Yeah, I wonder what interesting precedents are being set by this, and how the next President will put them to use.

Well the universe loves a good joke, so it's no surprise that we're on track to put a king in the White House.
