Always watch for people calling things racist that aren't. For example, if someone tries to conflate muslims with 'brown people', it shows they have so much racism in their heart, they'll even insult a whole religious group (of BILLIONS) to do it. You could decide to be a muslim tomorrow, and I don't need to check your skin colour to know that. People convert to Islam ALL the time. (though converting back seems to have unrelated issues)

So senate majority leader Mitch McConnell just said that he opposes "blue-state bailouts" and that blue states hit hard by the coronavirus and lockdowns should go bankrupt.

Thing is, NY and CA are the two biggest sources of revenue for the federal government. Mitch's state of Kentucky is of course one of the poorest states in the union and one of the biggest moochers of federal tax dollars.

This level of detachment from and denial of reality does not exist on the Democratic side. This level of psychopathic cruelty does not exist on the Democratic side. This is why bothsidesing chaps my hide. Bothsidesing in the Trump/McConnell era is like bothsidesing in 1930s Germany. This is fucking nuts.

If the city of Houston actually enforces the order you should know that this will come back to bite Democrats in the arse.
