Re: The Coronavirus Thread
A tiger at the Bronx zoo has tested positive for Covid-19. What with pet dog and cat cases it seems that mammals are also susceptible to the infection, providing countless additional vectors for transmission.

Cull all the cats. The dogs can stay. They would never harm us.
Re: The Coronavirus Thread
I've been avoiding dogs, and expect them to be constrained further. While it is uncertain if they can carry, or transmit this virus, it is pretty certain that their collar, fur or the caked shit in their fur CAN.
In my area, lots of people insist on letting their dogs off-leash. That could make it tough to enforce up this way.

What about the hamsters? Surely.... not the hamsters....?

Not to mention the rats, mices, voles, weasels, ferrets, sheep, bats, goats, otters, horses, dear, cows, foxes, badgers, polecats, rabbits, and the lesser white-toothed shrews

Who would have thunk his team wouldn't bother checking a claim like this lolHi
@BernieSanders
your girl wrote days before her histrionic video that she had anxiety and bi-polar depression, hadn't been working in the hospital for over a year and didn't know if she was ready to return. Maybe vet these people? Just a thought.

I thought he would. Patients whose symptoms persist for more than 7 days usually end up needing acute care. Though likely to survive - on the balance of probability - the long term effects of a sevre dose can be pretty horrendous.
I really hope he gets better. His nominated stand in is a true believer.

Re: The Coronavirus Thread
I've noticed a lot of stock trading apps and US pension/investment offers popping up on YouTube - perhaps because my VPN is in the US and I fit that demographic. But who's investing in the stock market atm?

Re: The Coronavirus Thread
I'm finding a lot of the ads very weird - they are still burbling on about tourist destinations or flying or have scenes of crowds - a real disconnect to the present reality. More recent ads are heavily focused on home delivery of food services, either boxes of fresh veg and groceries, or fully cooked meals. It seems Oz values food over sex, at least compared to Germans...

Nurse, where the fuck's my cardigan?
