Some, what sounds like a conspiracy nut, in Los Angelos ran into a train carrying supplies to derail it because he believed something suspicious was going on and eas trying to expose it.

The latest fad is a poverty social. Every woman must wear calico,
and every man his old clothes. In addition each is fined 25 cents if
he or she does not have a patch on his or her clothing. If these
parties become a regular thing, says an exchange, won't there be
a good chance for newspaper men to shine?

You jest, of course.
No. I have had the flu jab for three years in a row and every January I got flu and twice ending up in hospital with lung complaints. This last time I had very similar symptoms to the Corona virus and that was just before the Chinese went public on the virus. I was in isolation because of the severe diarrhoea I had and temperature of above 38C.
I am not taking that risk again.

The measures here are extended until end of April. We dont have lock down but a partial one. Nobody will stop you walking around. The prostitutes are still plying their trade in a more old fashioned way; ads in papers (digital ones). Many kids have phoned the Kid's Line demanding to go back to school as the situation in the home is driving them mad.
Pressure is building to relax the measures and allow common sense to take over. The official figures are showing a downturn.

Here is something that will get arses twittering and might have a positive result.

Cats can infect each other with coronavirus, Chinese study finds
Feline transmission to humans not shown but infected pet owners warned to be careful

Cat owners may wish to be more cautious about contact with their pets, as a study from China has revealed Covid-19 can be transmitted between cats.

The team, at Harbin Veterinary Research Institute in China, found that cats are highly susceptible to Covid-19 and appear to be able to transmit the virus through respiratory droplets to other cats. Dogs, chickens, pigs and ducks were found to be unlikely to catch the infection, however.

The findings followed recent reports of a pet cat in Belgium being infected with Covid-19. About a week after the cat’s owner started showing symptoms, the cat also developed breathing difficulties, diarrhoea and vomiting, and subsequent tests by vets at the University of Liège showed the animal was infected with coronavirus.

Is it not strange that according to official figures the two countries with the highest count of cases in Europe are both relatively strong catholic countries. Part of the mass service is the shaking of hands. Just saying...

Don't forget holy water fonts.

But I think what is more relevant is the kissing on cheeks, the carnival celebrations, the winter sport resorts, the beach resorts.
