He doesn't stand for anything. He's a run of the mill centrist career politician. Don't get me wrong, he's vastly preferable to even the best Republican, but my feeling toward him is 'meh'. He's emblematic of the status quo that led to Trump being elected.

As a leftie I want some level of care to be under a universal coverage, for all. I think the Bernie plan was not going to get thru in 4 years. Bernie or Biden, either old man will serve onlt 4 years. That's enough to undo most of Trump. Warren would have got us more healthcare

The biggest appeal Biden has for me is he worked in a normal White House, and knows how it's supposed to work. It might help to undo some of the damage Trump has done.

Other than that, Biden is just a mediocre establishment Democrat.
