I grew up with it, and thought it was cool, sort of. But when Frank Gorshin got a role I got disgusted and never watched it again.

I really liked that one

I thought Gorshin did a fine job. I didn't even realize it was The Riddler

It was what I refer to as a "blunt trauma episode". They beat us to death with the black vs white things. I prefer subtle to main force.

It's the one with the furry things that breed like crazy.

The Trouble With Tribbles.
There was a related "tribute" DS9 episode (which I've not yet seen) called
Trials and Tribble-ations.

IIRC the DS9 episode (the tribble one) touches on why the Klingons look COMPLETELY human in TOS.

I liked Wil Wheaton in
Stand By Me, so I looked forward to seeing him in
Next Generation. Only, for the most part, I found him quite annoying in the role of Wesley Crusher. When he was on screen, I could understand Picard's disdain for children

The last series Enterprise explained it fully, something about a genetic virus and it taking generations to revert to their proper appearance.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.
