Trump reportedly suggested using nuclear bombs to stop hurricanes from striking the US

President Donald Trump has suggested dropping nuclear bombs into hurricanes to stop them from causing damage to the US, the news website Axios reported on Sunday.

The report said the president suggested the idea on multiple occasions to senior officials at the Department of Homeland Security and other national security officials.

One source who was at a hurricane briefing at the White House at an unspecified date told Axios that Trump said something along the lines of "I got it. I got it. Why don't we nuke them?" and "They start forming off the coast of Africa, as they're moving across the Atlantic, we drop a bomb inside the eye of the hurricane and it disrupts it. Why can't we do that?"

Yeah me too, but this is a single guy doing it on his own. If he were Richard Branson maybe he could afford to put in some hard infrastructure. The KIng could afford to do it, but he's busy putting gold faucets in his palaces and buying new BMWs for his 15 wives.

There's a lot of grass roots activism here, particularly among Mrs. Lak's friends. They all grew up here and see Swaziland as home. Most of them are now Swazi citizens, but we'll never do that because they don't allow dual nationality. If the ever change that rule we'll definitely become citizens, Mrs. Lak is far more Swazi than she is anything else.

This also means we have to be careful not to offend the Powers That Be, it's not unheard of for the KIng to revoke legal residence if an expat gets too mouthy about things.
