Actually, a guy named Bill Weld is running. He's sort of an old-school, pre-Fox News, pre-911 style Republican from before the party started to lean into fascism. He's about as sane as Republicans get these days, anyway. Of course, he doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell of winning. It's Trump's party now. The patriotic thing for him to do would be to run third party in the general to pull votes from Trump. Then again, he did that last time and it didn't work...

Move. That's what we did. I haven't a fucking clue what he's twerked or tootled and let me tell you, it's fucking wonderful. I'd almost forgotten there is this huge goddamn world out there that doesn't spend it's waking hours in existential angst over what Trumpy does or says, or if Hillary offed Jeffery (who?).

Spent a hour talking to a young Swazi guy who was installing our cell repeater. Graduated from Universtiy of Iowa with a degree in comp sci, then came home and started his own company. He wholesales data bandwidth to other companies. In the last 3 years he's been building and installing solar powered wifi hotspots in rural Swaziland, has 24 towers now. Uses his profits to build them and doesn't charge for it. He's brought free internet to areas that don't even have running water or electricity. When I find myself worrying overmuch about 1st World Problems I'm gonna think about people like him.
