These Trumpists remind me of my neighbors in Cincinnati. A guy was throwing eggs at our car if we parked in the street. We made a handout asking help identifying the culprit. We would then complain to the police. It was probably the wife beater across the street.

We handed out some 20 fliers. One got immediately returned to our mail box with the note: "We didn't have any egg throwing until you people moved here."

It was a very working class neighborhood. We lived there 6 years. There were no teens. Just families with little kids and old people.

Every time someone (or a whole group) is called 'racist', it is less interesting and effective.

Why waste breath on it? Oh, right, because media companies LOVE what happens to their bottom line when they experience the 'Trump Bump'.

Greedy fuckers.

But Trump wants to be a racist. Otherwise he does not get 40% of the vote guaranteed.

Seems likely to me that Mitch McConnell told Trump there weren't enough votes in the Senate to pass this turd. The reasons the Mountebank in Chief gave for withdrawing the nomination have never stopped him before.

'John Ratcliffe: Trump withdraws pick for US intelligence director'
US President Donald Trump has withdrawn his choice for director of national intelligence amid criticism that the Texas congressman was under-qualified.

Mr Trump tweeted that he told Texas Republican John Ratcliffe that the nomination process would be "miserable" for him due to unfair media coverage.

Mr Ratcliffe thanked Mr Trump and said he did not want the job to become "a purely political and partisan issue".

...

Speaking to reporters outside the White House on Friday, Mr Trump said Mr Ratcliffe was "treated very badly, very harshly by the press" and that he believes Mr Ratcliffe "made the right decision".

But he added the media was "part of the vetting process" for nominees, and told reporters, "a lot of times you do a very good job".

"I give out a name to the press and they vet for me," Mr Trump went on to say. "We save a lot of money that way. But in the case of John, I believe he was being treated very harshly and unfairly."

Mr Ratcliffe was appointed by Mr Trump days after his aggressive questioning of former-Special Counsel Robert Mueller, the ex-FBI director who led an inquiry into alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election.

“Look, but she is gonna get—you know, I don’t want her stinkin’ Muslim crap in my country,” Roseanna said.

“Sharia law,” Amy chimed in. Her iridescent CoverGirl highlighter glinted under the stadium lights. “Sharia law.”

“That’s not America,” Roseanna said. “She is a Muslim through and through …She wants that all here.” She wondered aloud whether Omar had come to the U.S. illegally. (There is no evidence this is true.)
Idiot. Ilhan Omar is more liberal and tolerant than any MAGA-hatted Trumplodyte.

"We're working on a deal where the European Union will agree to pay a 25% tariff on all Mercedes-Benzes, BMWs coming into our nation, so we appreciate that," the president said.
"I'm only kidding," he continued, sparking laughter in the room. "They started to get a little bit worried. Thank you. Congratulations. Best beef in the world, thank you very much!"

The fools believe every word:
https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2019/08/02/poli ... index.html

Preexisting conditions

"...We will always protect patients with pre-existing conditions, always."

Facts First: This claim is undercut by Trump's actions and those of congressional Republicans during his presidency.

We usually don't fact-check promises, but this one has already proved untrue. Trump's administration and congressional Republicans have repeatedly put forward bills and lawsuits that would weaken Obamacare's protections for people with preexisting conditions. Trump is currently supporting a Republican lawsuit that is seeking to get all of Obamacare declared void. He has not issued a plan to reinstate the law's protections for people with preexisting conditions if the suit succeeds.

Farage thinks Trump's 'go back' remarks was clever...
Nigel Farage has described Donald Trump’s “go back” comments aimed at four congresswomen of colour as “genius”.

The US president’s racist remarks were widely condemned after he told the four Democrats known as the Squad to return to the “broken and crime infested places from which they came”.

But the leader of Britain’s Brexit party praised Trump’s words as being politically shrewd, despite saying they made him feel uncomfortable.

In an interview with the Times, Farage compared watching his ally’s “pretty brisk style” to being a child watching daleks on Doctor Who.

Farage, who has close links with the Trump administration, added: “I thought, ‘Dear, oh dear, oh dear’. You realise, 48 hours on, it was genius because what’s happened is the Democrats gather round the Squad, which allows him to say, ‘Oh look, the Squad are the centre of the Democratic party’.

“He’s remarkably good at what he does. He does things his way. But he is a remarkably effective operator.” ...

So much winning! Tears up deal and then...wants the same deal again, but puts more conditions in it, making it unlikely:
Donald Trump says China and Russia 'very excited' about his new nuclear pact idea
The US president has pulled out of a deal made with Russia in 1987 but now says he wants a new one - with China also included.

This is a line that Cunt's tried to run with too. I don't believe it. Trump isn't shrewd enough to concoct a situation like that. He just goes with whatever his "brain" spits out minute by minute.

Perhaps. But like BoJo he's clever enough to know that if everyone is talking about him then he can polarise the narrative into a camp who supports him and a camp who are unpatriotic extremists hell-bent on destroying freedom and liberty. :tea:

The other funny thing about that, is that he left a quote which the media could use to make it sound like he said 'if you don't like it leave', when what he really said included 'to fix the shitholes elsewhere, then come back and tell us what you did' (approximately). So his message was - go fix THAT, then we'll listen to your solutions to fix THIS. He said it in a shitty way which could be misconstrued by anyone shallow and shifty enough to do it.

Quite easily.

Trump has shown a lot of people to be worthless in their attacks. It's why CNN is tanking. They are maybe the most extreme example, but most of the media fell for it.

But he must be too stupid to have planned it. (if he is so stupid, what does that say about the endless stream of people losing to him?)
