Well that was underwhelming, but what do you expect from an underwhelming season. Pity Martin didn't write fast enough.

I guess they had to end it somehow, but the whole season felt compressed and rushed. Not to mention obviously written by a committee and not George R.R. Martin. If the show had played out from the beginning like this final series has I don't think it would have been as popular. Happily, I believe the book will have a different ending.
