I thought they were libertarians. I misunderstood. They are just the same type of assholes as Trump is:

Perhaps because Trump has supported their policy goals, Freedom Caucus members have turned into essentially a powerful defense team for the president, aggressively attacking the methods and motives of Justice Department and FBI officials who are looking into connections between Trump’s 2016 campaign and Russian officials. Last week, 15 House Republicans, 13 from the Freedom Caucus, started a long-shot campaign to impeach Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who’s overseeing special counsel Robert Mueller’s ...

True libertarians do not approve Trump approaches to press and the constant national security excuses.

They may not approve attacking journalism. They just don't see that our media qualifies.

Where's your outrage at his undermining of the establishment? Let me guess, dumbass Trump has done more damage...

When did lying become undermining?
When did abuse of executive power become undermining?

Trump is the establishment:

There is no bucking the system, it is business as usual for lobbies. Trump as revolutionary is all fake. Just trade is affected, they will put up with tariffs a few years. No jobs will come to US as a result of tariffs. They can hold out that long. There is a market for products outside of US, so if they own manufacture they can survive. If they just sell stuff or own property, they can sort it out. Capitalists are rolling in dough due to corporate tax cut.

Our narratives are incoherent to the nth degree man.

Are we concerned about Trump undermining public confidence in the press or not?

Are we concerned about Trump hurting the credibility of the intelligence services, feds, justice system in general, or not?

Okay, so when did these institutions, the establishment, become credible?

Why is it that I'm even assuming they have a credibility problem?

I'd rather just assume it's complicated and our abstractions don't do a good job of modeling what's really happening.

Ground apes like simple solutions. Unfortunately, simple solutions rarely fix complex problems.

I remember trying to convince a client that to modify a general insurance policy administration system to handle medical insurance claims was basically impossible. They said "How hard can it be? Just throw some code at it".
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Trickle down is real. Trump voters would rather give $1 to the rich than to the poor. 1c comes back by trickle down, whereas the 1$ to the poor gives nothing back to you. The poor will spend it on potato chips and beer.

It's often hard to convince the guy with the wallet that his 'idea' is not difficult, just stupid.
