My fathers ancestry goes back to Germany. My mothers goes back to France.
I have some German and French blood.

Both my parents born and lived in England as did their parents which goes back a few hundred years. So I'm 100% English.

Is the French blood constantly surrendering to the German blood? :what?:

It seems that I'm a mixture of three linguistic groups, one of it is not even Indo-European - South Slavic, West Germanic and Ugro-Finnish.

I was created by God in His image and My Virgin Mother Marg on January 25 in the Year Of Our Lord 0000 (1947 on most current calendars, soon to be realigned). No need to go further back, I'd fucking hope for all your sorry asses (get it together, Brits; add an 's' and toast the fucking 'r' 'cause some cunt screwed that one up... real soon, OK?).

No coincidence about the 25th, of course - my successor, Monica, will be born on February 25, 2000 (new calendar), when I go play with 47 virgins - strike that, I've already figured out that experience is just too fucking sweet - very experienced and marvelously, wonderfully, adorably, wondrously slutty and heavenly women. And I'm not up fer nails and planks this fucking time, so don't even think about it - :whisper: - spread the word. Now.

P.S.: I luvs you all.

My heritage is Chinese-European...

Quite literally, If there's a European country I'm sure to have ancestry there.
But the biggest side of European is Irish, so I just identify as Chinese-Irish.

1/2 Irish, 1/2 Irish, 1/2 uncertain. The rest is open to speculation.

Van Miert dates back to Napoleonic times where everyone had to choose a last name. Van Miert means literally "From Miert" which is a town in Belgium I believe.

100% spaniard. It amazes me your claims of descencing from centuries old lines. My two grandfathers were bastards, one from single mother, one from an affair. So my family tree is more bonsai-type.

I've always thought bastard such a conservative, paternalistic, judgemental term, with the stigmatic, moralistic connotation of 'illegitimacy' (by definition, in fact ... really, WTF?) and 'sin', and it seems odd to see enlightened people still using it ... a cultural thing, I guess.

too True but it is easier to type .BTW I was told at Uni that about 10% of people are illegitimate so NEVER when talking about genetic disorders
with parents assume that they are both parents . That kind of makes anyones heritage an assumption not a fact , so if you go back 10
generations most of us aren't who we think we are .Family trees and genealogy works a whole lot better if you follow the mothers line not the fathers . As XC said being proud of your heritage is like being proud of your eye colour .
